Part of my set lunch - Creme Brulee . Any french restaurant worth its salt must produce a good Creme Brulee and they do! Smooth, not cloyingly sweet, vanilla pod used ... Yummy!
best french onion soup ever. all the mains were delicious (beef cheek , lamb shank , le porc iberique), but the soufflé for dessert stole the show. allow 20min for prep. excellent service too
While the menu items get refreshed from time to time, these 3 desserts has been in the menu for the past 12 years: creme brulee , apple tart , & chocolate fondant ????
Suckling pig leg confit is very well down. Crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. Recommended to.share if u r not a big meat eater
Plat Du Jour - Beetroot with pan fried goat cheese is awesome! The beet is so fresh, the cheese is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The 1st bite leaves a deep impression.
From their Autumn menu, the goat cheese wrapped in filo pastry was a complete meal by itself. Tasty & filling ????????
French leeks in vinaigrette paired well with the 'Mimosa ' mayonnaise . Refreshing start to the meal
Order the char-grilled pork ! It's done so well , it actually tastes like beef ! Everyone preferred this over the lamb shank and beef stew .
Their set lunch is de bomb!! $35 and u can choose this big portion of Pan seared foie gras ! Amazing stuff!
Food is consistently good. Chef Laurent and staffs is a treasure to this eatery ????????????
Beef cheek is must. Soft tender mixed with the sauce is perfect
Their set lunch here is really tops! Gives you such great choices and yet each dish is so outstanding! Really value for money at $30 for 3 courses!
Duck confit . I'd wish kitchen would crisp it up a little more ????
The apple tart pastry is neither the crumbly nor flaky types. It's soft and almost chewy
Some biased pork cheeks main. ???????? Loving the pork balls . #howtonotbefat #bistroduvin
Weekday lunch set definitely value for money . Amazing food!
This grilled lamb is part of the set lunch - average to me. Was a tad dry and the ratatouille that accompanied it was too overpowering in taste that killed the taste of my lamb !
Lamb is very tender and a big portion of meat! Veal is a bit too milky . Onion soup is a good appetizer .
Amazing french onion soup . Souffle is great. Ratatouille is also excellent.
Lamb and veal were simply delicious! Great place
Excellent French fare at reasonable prices. Try the duck leg confit . Very nicely done.
Good, cozy French bistro ! Onion soup and foisgras-lobster ravioli are delicious
Rustic French cuisine and reasonably priced. Good for casual dates/gathering
You can never go wrong with beef cheek stew .
Lunch set for $40 for 3 courses is a good deal
Do try their escargot , French onion soup , beef cheeks and ribeye steak . For sides, order their sauteed mushrooms .
Coq Au Vin is heavenly! Lunch set is pretty good value for money as well .
Can never go wrong with their beef cheek stew . Tender and full of flavour.
LOVELY apple pie dessert . overall, attentive service and respectable French fare in the heart of town ... that said, Les Bouchon and Au Petit Salut still have my vote, sorry!
Awesome souffle ! Leave room for dessert .
Beef steak ...really no good.side dish fried potatoes of beef steak for French restaurant ...very funny
The steak is great. Tender even when well done.
Delicious French fare at a bistro conveniently located in Orchard
Pretty decent bistro styled French food with restaurant styled prices. Great escargot and mushrooms with bacon and egg . Go for quail and pot-au-feu as mains.
Very good French fare at reasonable price. Tried many of their dishes and so far they are all great!
Set meal for lunch is great. Quaint ambience too.
Frozen Espresso . Perfect end to a great meal.
Very good French fare frm start to sweets!
Oh the Pork Cheeks are nice.
Mmm can't stop having the hazelnut parfait !
The braised beef cheeks and the creme brulee are absolutely paradisaical!
Don't get the soufflé ! Someone said on Yelp that it smells & tastes like scrambled eggs & is completely inedible. They were right - wish I'd listened & saved my S$15!
Beef tartare and the foie gras are amazing!
Really delicious fondant au chocolat . Had a pretty good $10 glass of merlot too.
Tart pastry 2
