What's good here? EVERYTHING! The food, the option of beers , the atmosphere, the beer garden , the lovely staff , just amazing all round.Cannot recommend enough
Amazing Sunday roast - massively generous portions . Get there early though, usually out of everything by 4pm.
Small front bar opens to a large conservatory spaces. Great venue for a catch-up and a relaxed drink. Off the beaten path but worth looking up.
Best roast in East London, full stop, hands down etc and I've tried the lot
Really good Sunday roast . Very filling. Defo come back.
Surprisingly larger than it looks. Cracking beer garden out the back.
Large yard backing on to the railway should be nice in summer. No 3 reception in the conservatory , though. Simple, tasty food.
Amazing make-over, completely unrecognizable from what it used to be. And in a very good way!
9/10 gin & tonic , 9/10 atmosphere
Best pub in Mile End. The burger is solid
Great roast on a Sunday. I ask for the horseradish separate
It has a real fireplace . Lovely on a cold winters day.
Nice beer garden out the back!
Good for groups - tasty food too
Proper local, great staff
Newly refurbished. Well worth a visit.
Nice looking patio , except it smelt a bit like a urinal while high speed trains whizz by. Pints tasted a bit suspect as well . Not a favourite
Great outdoor area
Old school boozer . Much improved recently.
A quiet dining room in the back, huge selection of Belgian beers and great game pie. Venison was lovely. - Leszek Ciesielski
Great dinner menu of classic gastropub food with interesting twists. Pork & chorizo burger with bacon, fries and mint salad was yum! - Daren Williams
The staff are great! Very cozy and pleasant spot, and the sweet potato fries are crisp, crunchy, and fresh. - Aron Cohen
Lovely pub inside and out. Try the beer garden when the weathers nice! - Jessica
This is classic east London pub in the bow conservation area. Staff are friendly, beer is excellent. Darts board, always have cricket / football and good food. - Richard Baxter
