I do no remember how many times I’ve been to Takahachi, but every time I am trying smth new and everything is soooo good! Must try after matcha wrap - almond croissant and lemon puff❤️????
One of the best bakeries in NYC. Try their strawberry shortcake and Kyoto matcha mousse !
Their macarons are out of this world! In addition, their matcha flavoured desserts were so delicious I wanted to come back everyday.
The Melon Pan is a new favorite of my son. Whereas I will chomp down their perfect red bean buns any day of the week. Matcha green tea cookies are to die for.
The best Japanese bakery in New York City , Takahachi also has good sandwiches . Their Gimme! Coffee gets the job done but nothing special.
Pastries look great, but taste far from perfect. Truffle cake is quite dry, while matcha which is a kind of specialty here doesn't really fit creme brulee or pancakes . If you're not Japanese,of course
Mhmm matcha crepe ! Enjoy that with a matcha green tea latte . You may have to ask for extra hot.
It's easy to go for the sweets but don't overlook the sandwiches . The fried oyster roll with spicy mayo (Japanese take on po' boys ) is a steal at $4.95.
Excellent matcha croissant . Filling but with a surprisingly light matcha cream ok the inside
A specialist in Japanese breads from Pullman-like loaves to buns flavored with red bean and wasabi .
Great spot for a snack , lunch or dessert . Fresh salads and hot and cold sandwiches at a fair price .
Nice gem in the neighborhood , Japanese specialty pastry breads . Good service and a small seating area for a quick stop and go. Also has green tea and sesame ice cream .
Some of the freshest, most delicious food near City Hall . Try the homemade tofu or tuna tataki salads , Midori juice and one of the unusual macarons - like goma or matcha .
Delightful and cosy. Love this Japanese bakery/cafe. Chef special meals are tasty too! Sandwiches and treats you won't tire of. FRESH. Will keep coming!
The signature matcha roll is awesome for instagram. Also I like it better than Matcha millecrepe
The black sesame and matcha macarons are delicious. Buy them if they are still available because they sell out often!
Try the warm and delicious sweet cream cheddar bun beside the cashier . Through the glass, you can also see people working towards the back sitting area.
Matcha crepe is super soft and delicious????
Matcha cake pops , cassis noir mousse , choux puff and matcha crepes filled with whipped cream . Delicious and reasonably priced.
Perfect hidden gem in TriBeCa- awesome authentic pastries and sandwiches
You have to like Chinese deserts , and these are so good. Sticky, rice buns . Sometimes I don't even know what is inside, but have not been disappointed yet.
Delicious bento box , pastries . The cone bun with sesame creme is a must try. Very clean and warm place.
Coffee , breakfast sandwiches , raisin bun , ...basically everything!
Tuna Tataki Salad is impossibly fresh and light and perfect for stupid hot days. Highlight is the aggressively sassy wasabi dressing .
Their sweets are so good, light and tasty. I love their cheese cake , matcha mousse cake and all of the ice creams .
kurogoma (black sesame ) lattes are delicious... as well as most of their pastries / cookies / cakes !
If you like matcha , you need to come here! Matcha wrap is so good!
Yuzu tea has Japanese citrus and honey mix. And Matcha croissant looks like this????
Excellent little bakery for Japanese lunch , sandwiches , snacks , and sweets. Creative drink menu too.
Very interesting choice of deserts ,polite staff and really relaxing atmosphere !! Matcha crepe is a must!!!!!!!
Lots of green tea and sesame desserts ! I love their home made bread . I love the sesame loaf!
Their Uguisu pastry is one of my favorites. Beautifully flower shaped croissant base with red bean fillings~

Top notch Japanese pastries and also you can get mini bento style snacks and tonkatsu sandwiches
Delicious, clean , welcoming, friendly . Everything's great. Try the salmon ginger sandwich , juice , and macarons .
Filled with fancy gourmet desserts or great traditional Asian pastries . I got the red bean filled bun !
I always come here for a delicious treat like their fluffyyy strawberry shortcake and their matcha crepe ???? yum
Matcha crepe is one of the best matcha desserts ive ever had. Chef used to work at bouley
Japanese sandwiches (like smoked eel and fried oyster ) and french style pastries made on the premises.
favorite spot for seriously good Asian treats.. everything is always fresh & delicious.. great breads .
Snag them macarons while you can. They've been known to sell out by afternoon time. Black sesame is my flava of choice.
A Japanese bakery oasis in the City Hall area, with rabbit-shaped pastries and fried oyster sandwiches .
Order the Green Tea Koshi Croissant for a whimsical, tea-spiked, sweet red bean paste imbued sweet treat .
Must try: matcha crepe filled with cream red bean .
Get the match a crepe with red bean whip cream , it's delicious
The matcha crème brulée is nice and you can see the pastry chef make the caramel which is fun.
