Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort

Some of the main highlights of this award-winning hotel are the rooms with ocean/partial ocean views and city views , as well as excellent restaurants Duke 's Waikiki Restaurant and Chuck's Steak House .

You will stay just on the beach , with modern amenities . You are lucky to spend the day by this beautiful beach and sea.

We enjoyed our stay here. Great views , free wifi . Avoid the free gift that is left on the pillows on the bed. You'll be sucked into a two hour presentation for Wyndham vacations.

Great elevator system. Pai's Deli is great. The salad bar at Duke 's is yummy. Great proximity to an ABC shop (across the road ).

The activity desk has no real discounts . Just walk a few yards outside the hotel and you will find deals 50% off compared with Outrigger

The Kepoikai Catamaran parks behind the Outrigger on the beach . Look for the blue and white sails . Best island crew and tour ????

Great location, right in the middle of tons of shopping and restaurants ! And Duke’s is in the lower level! Aloha !????

When on Waikiki Beach , be sure to sneak in to the pool area at the Outrigger. They'll never know. However, it's important that you act like you know what you're doing, and that you do it wiki wiki!

You've got to hang out at @DukesWaikiki especially on Sunday! Live music and lots of Aloha !

the elevators are a bit too clever for the guests.

There Internet is awesome! If your lucky enough to get connected hurry and use it cuz you will be disconected soon and then have to struggle to reconnect. You would be better off just mailing a letter

keep snacks and drinks in your room if you’ll want something late at night; there’s nothing convenient open nearby

I recommend booking your activities through the XPEDIA desk in the lobby. The staff are usually local and can give great advice on the activities offered there.

Outrigger Activities Center offers so many tours and they DO have discounts off of all their tours and activities! Very nice people work there!

Order in pizza from round table pizza . It's not cheap but not too bad and tastes great! (try the BBQ chicken ) 808-923-2100

Chucks is closed but Dukes and Hula Grill (my fav) are open.

Try the lava flow ! (Mixture of strawberry daquiri and pina colada ) its excellent. Also try the endless summer drink .

Amazing location and friendly staff

I recommend you try to get a Ocean View room and at least 6 floors up in order to have a quiet night's rest. This way you're not facing the Waikiki strip and not close to the loud music .

stayed here April 2009, got ocean view ,..nice! It's in the center of Waikiki. Just go down and you'll find the Duke 's. Right place to stay.

Free wifi for those of us w/ "dumb phones". Excellent!

The wireless is passable at best. Don't expect to be getting your email any time soon. The business center computers cost $15/hr and freeze up continually (while your time keeps ticking)

Great hotel great staff .

Internet passable at times, front desk ok. Was told could get a late check out but then on my day to leave they said no. Overall great hotel might stay here again.

Oh yeah don't forget about the old worn out mattress that leans to one side due tired worn out springs

The fridge in the room is empty so you can fill it up with your own snacks bought at a supermarket .

Near the beachside

These elevators are so slow or always busy and keep you waiting.

What a dump . The elevator is sporadic at best. Their wifi is so bad 1/2 the time could not connect. The front desk staff needs a refresher on the business traveler or stop taking corp bookings

Do not expect much. This is a 2 star resort with 1 star device at best. Right next door is the Muana Surfeider, go there instead for a far superior experience.

Very cold welcome, a lot of fake smiles, may be a standard or lower standard :(

The activities desk here is fair but no real discounts . Call Tom Barefoots for better deals.

Free Internet -- just connect to 'outrigger' and go!

Don't use their "shuttle service": It's literally an old woman driving a beat-up Dodge passenger van who is answering calls and scribbling on a notepad while driving.
