Authentic atmosphere - beautiful wall paintings and tables where you sit on ground. Large sake choice, but most are only sold in bottles. I got disappointed with my dish, the description misled me.
Sit upstairs for a slightly more authentic feel. I come here every year with Manchester Jitsu club. Can't recommend it highly enough. If you want a taste of everything, get the Samurai selection.
really good guyozas and sushi . friendly staff and nice music . honest price.
Sukiyaki soup base is too sweet to be authentic , but still one of the best u can get in Manchester.
The lunch buffets are tasty and amazing value. But avoid the matcha green tea ice cream—the texture's not that great (lots of big ice crystals).
Bento boxes are amazing!
Go for the £15 buffet with a pot of green tea ! Ask for more of the mackerel and eel ! Yums!
it's getting less better every time I come here. two disappointments so far and two great comments in the past
Bento of the day comes at a reasonable price.
Ask for the traditional tables upstairs if you can.
Good sushi . Bento boxes are great value .
£9.50 Bento Box is outstanding value and excellent quality. Staff were friendly and the food was very tasty. Would recommend highly.
The £9.50 lunch is massive and has good sushi
Good stuff. Japanese goods in the basement too!
Brown Rice tea is gorgeous (beware, tea pot is really heavy)
One of the best Japanese restaurants in town
The £12.50 buffet is the new £10! Upgrade for extra fishy yumminess
Sushi and bentos are delicious, staff are very friendly but stay away from the sukiyaki , way over priced and just not traditional.
Nice food but extremely slow service. Don't understand any Japanese words from the menu, which makes ordering difficult. Didn't ask if we wanted dessert , and charged us for the rice they never brought
As an Asian I can only say the food is below average with slow service. I'm sure there's a lot more better places else where.
order the £10 Sushi buffet at lunch time. it's the same as the £15 and they keep coming and asking if you want more. Fishtastic
Wow! That was a great experience
Disappointing with service and food on a Sunday lunch . My friend had specifically asked no sesame seeds had to ask for it to be redone after 30 mins of waiting. Gone downhill a lot :(
the price is reasonable. the taste is traditional. lets try.
The Sushi buffet is great!
samurai feast it's the way to go!
Get the samurai feast . Very tasty and it never ends!
Plum wine with ice ice baby
Slow service with average food (buffet )
The best Tonkatsu I've had outside of Japan. Check out the lunch menu for dishes around £7. - Tessa Browne
Great entertainment and decent food. Get ready to be impressed by the Chef! - Alan Thien
The lunch deal! Very good value for money! They change their menus every week! Good for a nice lunch on a busy workday! - Freida Kumar
