Desserts : Simple green bean soup tasted wonderful fr Tian Yi #01-112! Ea mouthful had diff flavour/fragrance! Owners say more than 10 ingredients go in2 it. Same goes w other desserts they prep. Yum!
Looking for cheap soya bean ? Head over to Royal Bean! Freshly made for only 80 cent. You can choose hot or cold with not ice. Totally worth it.

Chinese temple : Behind hawker centre is a small temple smack in d middle of d public carpark. Diners & taxi drivers were observed lighting joss sticks & whispering prayers :-)
Nasi Lemak . Protein-dominant meal from Hjh. Zainab Kitchen #01-116. For $3.50, u get well-marinated fried fish & chicken wing , an egg & ikan bilis . Wish the items were crispier & warmer
Chicago Nasi Lemak is cheap and good, especially the chicken meat. 2 veg 2 meat only cost $3.40!
Vegetarian Bee Hoon . For $3, you get 6 dishes on your plate of fried bee hoon from Fong Guan #01-96. Generous, & decent tastes

Chai tow kway (fried white carrot cake ): Stall 104 Ke Shuang Xing whips up chunky bite-size ones, just like d old days. Tasty, not oily. Starting from $1.50 if u just wanna snack ;-)
Chicken rice . Stall 85 Chicken Rice sees queues daily. Decent meal for $2, complete with a small bowl of cabbage soup

Wantan mee . 2 doors from its more popular supper counterpart Koka, the morning stall serves decent WTM but their wantans & soup are salty!
Good traditional desserts can be found at Tian Yi (#01-112).
People you should try the chicken rice at Johnson Boneless chicken rice stall. It's really delicious with the drizzle of mayonnaise , chicken cutlet and the fragrant rice dip in their chili sauce .

Zhen Hao lor mee is really Zhen Hao chi (very nice to eat). Sells out quite fast by around 1pm on weekdays tho.

Love the yong tau foo here.. Close really early by 1230pm all the ingredients are all gone.. The soup is delicious!!
Chicago the Singapore nasi lemak is v nice. Cheap too but closes on Monday n Tuesday.
My fav ginger tea is at tehtarik.com. Don't think u can find online, but its right here on Crawford street!
