Great hiking , camping and picnicking park . Lots of trails some of which connect to Arastradero preserve, and others that connect to Los Trancos open space .

After decades of being shut down to non-Palo Alto residents , Foothills Park is finally open to everyone. “majestic hike … I could hike that every day of my life and be 100% satisfied.”

The PA council voted to reopen the park for general public in November 2020. #FreeThePark no more discrimination once again after 55 years

Camping under the stars at Towle Camp. Book ahead, way far in advance for weekends--up to a year ahead.

we go fishing at the lake in this nice big park , good for large groups, bbq , hiking for miles..

There's free Wi-Fi at the Interpretive Center.

Don't worry, the animals are more scared of you than you are of them. Except rattlesnakes - stay away from them!

Visit the Fern loop..nice hike .. esp in the mornings
