Enid W. Pearson Arastradero Open Space Preserve

Easy trails that have fantastic views of Palo Alto, but be aware of all the rat holes that line the trail . As it gets dark, the rats become very active, sometimes even crossing right in front of you.

Very good hiking , there are many trails with different difficulty and length. Lots of wild life.

Dog friendly trail but caution that its also a horse trail . Bikers own this place. Stressful parking lot on the weekends -- stressed out valley types who just want to bike .

Good single track mountain biking trails . Well marked. Not too crowded . Has hikers and cyclists.

Great place to hike . Lots of short , quick trails that are pretty easy.

Nice walk around the hills . Nice views . A little windy. Dings are welcome on a leash.

Honestly one of the most beautiful trails I've hiked

If you bring dogs check for ticks. It's a nice trail but there are ticks try and keep them out of grass and on the trail helps.

Foothills Park is only open to Palo Alto residents, except if you hike in from Arastradero. Take Arastradero Creek Trail all the way to the end. Esp nice when it's raining & seasonal trails closed.

Ooh the Wild Turkeys are huge this year. Try to spot them
