A very unusual location. Built into the arches of the railway bridge . Serves a wide range of Ossett Brewery ales , in addition to a good selection of guest beers too.
Pub quiz with free peas and pie . Really good and fun quiz. Does get super busy so get there for around 7.30 and grab a table. Only annoying thing is you see people using their phones.Needs to be rules
Try and catch Styckleback here, they play fairly regularly and are a FANTASTIC punk, rock, indie covers band. Avoid the Sunday blues session, it can be a bit hard on the ears. Good range of beers too.
Pie for a fiver ?! Locally produced pie with a locally produced ale , in a locally produced bar , a must for all Yorkshire folk and visitors alike! And it's just behind the station follow your nose!
Pie and a pint for a fiver , what could possibly go wrong?! Beware of queues, can get busy. Ossett Brewery pub so you know the beer 's good.
Make sure you arrive too early for your train . This is a great place to enjoy an ale .
I highly recommend the pie meal deal for a pie , mash , peas and also a drink for a fiver . Ideal to line your stomach before a real ale session.
