Good beer in spitting distance of a train station . What more do you need.
Friendly place and relaxed. Staff open and chatty. Food was better then the average pub . You can taste the attention :) and good deals
Cracking pub with some excellent cask ale on. Very handy for the station too.

Just ate here for the first time & will definitely be returning. All the food is home cooked & of a high standard. The homemade shortcrust pastry pie is particularly recommended, as are the puddings! - Dave Milne
