I’m a big fan of hamachi kama , I tried it here & it wasn’t my favorite dish: felt heavy on the breading . We ordered the peppery roll & the torched belly. The belly was to die for, perfectly balanced.
Do not get the fried chicken sandwich . It's cool that it's a double, but the something in it tastes awful (the pickles ?) and it tastes spice and salt heavy and seems to be missing umami.
Really tasty bento boxes !
The egg yolk dish which you then add to the donburi after was the star of the show. Service was sloppy, overly formal and way off the mark. Recommendation to dial the service back to casual .
The chef is really friendly and funny. I really like the fact that the flavor is really clean and not too heavy. Worth it! - T
Good flavor temaki (AKA hand roll sushi). Can be à la carte or multicourse (5, 7, 9), but the 7-course left us plenty full. We used our hands to eat it, the chopsticks for the spilled roe. - Alan Fung
Nice place to hang out, great view of the city on a sunny day. - Jacob Mulligan
