Great local coffee spot. The coffee baristas are chipper and nice despite the Grumpy title. The coffee is one of the best tasting coffee in NYC. Totally worth it.

Great place to buy freshly roasted, quality beans (Malacara makes a rich, smooth cup), and the baristas can prepare anything fancy you'd like.

It's true to cafe grumpy fashion, it's a rustic designed cafe with limited seating and the same good quality coffee . Nothing remarkable per se, but good.

All of the baristas are awesome minus the rude glasses/big hair lady. I asked for more chocolate in my cocoa , told me how "they do it" & then proceeded to shoot tons of syrup in the cup. Thanks, jerk.

Brewed to order, it's the best cup of coffee you'll find in the area hands down! Try their Ethiopian bean in a macchiato for a intensely fruity cup.

I like their coffee beans. Cappuccino was quite well made. Really liked the black pepper/cardamom banana bread .
