The Hotel Wilshire

Decent hotel near Hollywood , The Grove , and LACMA. Pool area is fun, but gets crowded . Linens and amenities are weak like WiFi or nonexistent like a gym . Affordable.

If when you go to The Rooftop all the pool lounge chairs are full don't fret. Hotel guests have priority and the hostess will take care of everything and reset them for you!

Boutique hotel , large rooms, roof deck and within walking to The Grove . No gym but yoga mat in room and gym classes nearby

Central location. Parking is $$$. King sized beds are right width but short - I am 6' and my feet hang over. Very nice roof top with pool, fire pit , and great view . No fitness center onsite.

The rooms were clean , chic , and had HBO with an HDMI output for all you traveling with an XBox or PS3. Service was flawless and guests also get free access to the L.A. Fitness at Fairfax and Ogden.
