I have been coming here for 65 years. Still great. The building used to stand alone and was striking in its gaudy way. Now it is lost among encroaching buildings.

SF classic. Hofbrau queue. Meat artfully plopped atop your choice of sides (potato salad , cole slaw , bean salad etc). You grab your tray, load up a few free pickles and find your seat. Get beer .

Don't kid yourself, get the brisket - either a meal or sandwich . Get extra BBQ sauce if ordering to go. Cucumber/tomato salad is key. Baked potatoes and the most filling stuffing you've ever had.

Everything's great here, but I'm partial to the corned beef . Everything is sliced right in front of you and bread is always fresh. Don't miss the big barrel of dill pickle chips past the register!

The BBQ brisket was really very good, the au jus is amazing. They slice the meat right in front of you and the sangria was great.

Really enjoy their Turkey sandwich . Went late in the evening, and they had a fresh turkey , which they opened to make a sandwich . They give you a side of au ju sauce to go with the sandwich .

Amazing craft beer selection ! Enjoyed a brisket platter. Cole slaw and potato salad are solid sides. Dont get the bread roll though -- you could kill someone w it if you throw it hard enough

$6 for a sandwich . Walked into this place and saw how they cut the meat in front of you. It's was so good and tender, left me in a good coma. Sandwich is just roll/bread with meat. Ask for cheese

This is an great place. Def not your everyday. The portions are huge, the prices are low, and the food is great. The hard part is deciding what to have.

Even as a die hard Lefty's fan, I think that Tommy's has my favorite corned beef sandwich in the city . Also, super convenient to grab a bite before heading to AMC 1000 across the street for a flick .

If you're craving good old comfort food , in big portions & budget friendly prices, this is your kinda place! As long as you're not too picky about the ambiance nor 5-star restaurant typ'a service.

Hot roast beef sandwiches , open faced turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy and one of the best sloppy joe 's I have ever had in my life.

Carved Meats are to die for. Turkey Sloppy Joe without BBQ Sauce (For Me) for less than $5 is awesome at this local legend.

Don't miss the daily specials . Thu is braised lamb which is made in premises and very good.
