Carmel River State Beach

Dangerous waves and undertow. It is beautiful and free. Dont turn your back on tbe water and you will be fine. Parking is difficult on weekends.

Great beach but don't park on the street , signs say no parking and residents have started calling CPD because people are blocking the street

Great beach - perfect for kids to swim in the river and catch little fish . Awesome to be floating with pelicans. Nice hike and views from the meadows on the far side.

The whole atmosphere is gorgeous! Parking can be busy, as a rude lady kept honking as I was parking .

Nice beach , reach here by car driving parallel to the beaches starting from carmel. See the amazing houses.

Just a little bit of sand, and lots of pebbles on this beach . Lots of bon fires - so, if you're walking around, have some wipes in the car to wipe your feet off.

Golf club restaurant is accessible for everyone and has decent club style lunch .

Beautiful beach . Mostly flat and the have public restrooms .

If you are at Monestary Beach (part of the park ) please be careful of the swells! There's always a strong undertow, so please, BE AWARE!

Nothing better than Sunday morning at Fryer Tuck's for Breakfast and then head on over here to spend the day...just a great day!

Wear boots because walking barefoot on those tiny pebbles is not ideal. Great beach though!
