I went with a large group and discovered the service was impeccable! The Mac and Cheese with the fried chicken and fried whiting were delicious!! Topped off with the Banana Pudding , our meal was great

Amy Ruth's is one of my favorite soul food restaurants . Last time I went I got the Rev Al Sharpton ! This is a great place to come on a relaxed date or with friends. There's even a kool-aid of the day!

Chicken & Waffles is a Harlem specialty. Invented nearby. These folks will lead you to believe that they created it. Not true. Large portions for the church and family set. Sundays require patience.

The fried chicken w/ mac n cheese , collards and or the candied yams ????????. They also have red velvet cake ????????????????.This is one of my favorite soul food spots in Harlem!

Seated in 15 minutes and served in about the same amount of time. Amazing for such a popular spot. First time? Try the Sharpton. Sweet tea is delicious. Corn bread amazing. Can't wait to go back.

I come ever so often. I've had the Fried Chicken and Catfish , both are very good. My last visit I tried the BBQ Pork Ribs ...I know I'm stealing from another brand but they were "Finger Licking Good".

Cornbread is TO DIE FOR. Regular fried chicken & waffle was spectacular. Mashed potatoes and corn were delicious too. Sweet tea was perfectly sweet. Mac and cheese was actually a little disappointing!

Chicken was juicy and the waffle was amazing. Only criticism: the chicken skin was amazingly crunchy, I just wish it was a little more seasoned.

The chicken & waffles are famous for a reason. Don’t sleep on the sides — collards are vinegary and still have a little bite, cheesy grits are appropriately artery clogging (skip the okra tho, sadly)

Can’t go wrong with Fried chicken , fried okra and Mac n cheese . But for real, how is the fried chicken here so much better than everywhere else?

Best house of chicken & waffles in the city (this is an urban take on southern soul food that originated in Harlem, where fried chicken , waffles , syrup , and hot sauce combine with awesome results).

Try the Baked Macaroni & Cheese - This is really incredible. My favorite type of Mac and cheese ever - if you don't like the overly cheesy, runny kind, than you must try this.

Brought an out of town friend here for some genuine soul food . Didn't disappoint! Service is friendly , the chicken sandwich I got was a little dry. Get the fried okra , it's amazing.

Best waffles I've ever had and I've been to Roscoes in LA sides and chicken are great as well ! Home made syrup is the icing on the cake !!

After all the hype and press about this place, it was somewhat of a disappointment bland food very viny and stemy greens but the catfish was excellent and the mac & cheese was decent

Try the Fishermans platter, catfish , fried shrimp & a crab cake . The crake cake was exceptional. The food was done perfectly

You MUST get the baked catfish ! Also really great melt-off-the-bone beef short ribs , meatloaf and of course fried chicken .

Tourist trap but the food is still solid. Waffles , fried shrimp and mac and cheese are so good. Plus you can order kool aid with your meal!

Great after hanging out in Harlem until the wee hours. I would go for the chicken wings and waffles . The chicken for the chicken and waffles was too dry.

I had the RUBY DEE my friend had the honey dip chicken . Omgggg both were AWESOME!! Greens were under cooked but everything else was on point.

Dark meat fried chicken and waffles , obvi. Lots of seating inside, food comes super quick. An institution.

Chicken and waffles , Mac and cheese , Kool aid, ... I've tried several things on the menu and I have not been disappointed.

Catfish and Waffles . I know it sounds weird but its awesome. A little pricy but def worth trying. Hot sauce , syrup , catfish , and waffle ...all in one bite!

Just as good now as it was 10 yrs ago. Be prepared to wait. And make sure to get the koolaid !
