Fantastically crafted cocktails , low seating is very cozy and hip . Make sure you dress up otherwise you'll feel out of place. Great ambiance, my second favorite bar in SF.

Be sure to check out the (huge) grandfather clock just outside the door... and be sure to read the history signs in the lobby - you'll quickly realize just how much "time" has gone by at this hotel .

Bartenders are really good. You'll have your 1st cocktail and say that was the best and order another...heard that every time. Cheers!!!

'Lost in Fog ' cocktail - really good! (there's a story behind this drink and has everything to do with a horse by that name escaping Golden Gate Fields and running across GG bridge . Born to be free!!!)

Pretty solid Old Fashioned but about as generic as you'd expect for a hotel cocktail bar .

I love the trendy ambiance and the Union Square location but unfortunately the cocktails are not worth the hefty price tag.
