What a great surprise! Great choice of beer ; i.e. my favourite brussels based brawery”de la senne”); flamish specialities in menu (carbonnade flamande);) fries are NOT good, but i love the flatbread !

They offer an impressive list of Belgian beers along w/ great food like The Sovereign burger : Red Apron ground beef ,brown beer onion jam , gruyère , &grainy mustard fondue on a toastedenglish muffin .

Must start your meal off with Mariniere Mussels prepared with white wine , garlic , lemon , parsley sourced exclusively from Dutch mussel farmer Theo De Koning at Acadia Aqua Farms in Bar Harbor , Maine.

We came here for a late dessert . The waffle was fabulous and the pot de creme was decadent. Our bartender had great recommendations for beer pairings as well . What a great place!

We expected a Bluejacket like experience and it was good. The mussels were good and large, but the marinere broth left us wanting more garlic/wine flavor. Granville Moores is still #1 for mussels IMO

They have some of the best mussels in DC. Big, plump, and they go great with the Belgian beers .

Great beer selection , great food, and a good vibe upstairs. Has become my go-to bar when I want to watch some sports in DC

Wow. If you are in the DC area you must visit this place.

Dishes to get: Coq au Gueuze, Steak Frites . Dishes to skip: Rabbit in Kriek (too dry, flavorless).

Food was good, but it’s pretty close quarters once you’re seated. Additionally, it can get very loud which makes it hard to have a conversation.
