Stokehouse Upstairs is fantastic, with some breathtaking food. Comparisons with Donovan 's are absurd - totally different style of cuisine and simply not comparable - both good for different reasons.

The upstairs bar is the best place to sip a cocktail while watching the sunset over the bay !

Make sure you leave room for the desert called The Bomb - it can be shared (although I try not to) and is just the most awesome combination of white parfait , strawberry sorbet and meringue .

Friday night they have the best gourmet pot pies in the Bar + Grill. Lamb & Rosemary or Steak & Onion ....

Great idea to share 2 plates of main so u can get a variety!!! Although the beer battered fillets were so small for the price!

Try the pie on a Friday night!! Not your usual four n twenty!

Used to be amazing but they have downgraded the upstairs restaurant . Shame.

Extremely fatty sirlon. They took half of it off the bill. Soft shell crab and oysters excellent. Amazing sunset !

The scallop entree was very good, but have Ocean Trout Tartare instead... sensational (unfortunately I didn't order it). For the main, the Snapper was delicious.

I would give my right arm for their Spiced Lamb Piadina . It's that good.

Wines are ok. Foods are fair except meat selection is just poor. The service is the worst I ever experienced. Amateur. Do Ausies often have starter as a main? It is what they said. Disappointed.
