Attended a (great) conference here recently and loved the venue. I shall be back for the jazz soon!

The Bad Plus was fantastic. Super cool venue, clean , not a bad seat in the house.

Great acoustics and sight-lines throughout - which makes seats in the second price tier just as good as full-price tickets. Third price tier seats are way up high though.

Performances start on time here. Get there early, you can get a drink at the bar , and bring it right in. Try the Vieux Carre.

Every seat is great & impeccable sound inside the auditorium . Go to the first floor restroom during intermission: no line in the ladies room! Great staff in the cocktail bar .

Fantastic built-for-Jazz building near City Hall . The acoustics are great and perfect for jazz . Feels more like an amphitheater than a classic concert hall .

Every seat in the Miner Auditorium is very decent! It's a great venue. Also, the Joe Henderson Lab is small and intimate .

Intimate venue, always great artists , cool bar/restaurant. Definitely a perfect place for a first date.

Have dinner or a cocktail at South before the show and step into the best jazz venue in San Francisco (or maybe anywhere).

Sound is great in every section, but best right by the sound booth (of course). Be punctual cause the show starts on time!

If you are stuck choosing between seats behind the stage or to the side chose the former as the sound is better. Seats aren't that Cindy but who cares?

Best place for jazz in the entire Bay Area.

Beware the second tier of balcony seats ; the acoustics are fine but the bar stool-height seats are very uncomfortable.

Besides the strange feeling of knowing black people systematically removed from this community, glad to still be able to hear jazz here.

you can bring drinks into the performance hall - the seats even have drink holders.
