Great place to start off the day. Bagels are great, lots of options to choose. Very filling and a frequent quick breakfast spot for us.
Since 1996, Murrays' superior thin, dense bagels have had a crackly crust and interior chew. Beyond standard cream cheese and egg sandwiches , Murray’s also offers chicken cutlet , pastrami , and salami . Read more
Get the Whitefish Salad Everything Bagel and the BEC on Whole Wheat . The herb taste of the everything bagel compliments the salty taste of the whitefish salad perfectly!
In our opinion, some of the best bagels in the city . This spot doesn't toast their bagels , but they're so good on their own that you don't need it! Our go to: tuna on an everything bagel !
The bagels come out warm and delicious. I would get a plain bagel with veggie cream cheese , it is so good and so mouthwatering. If you are craving some good NYC bagels go to Murray's.
Go with a friend and do a splitty-splitty on a bagel with lox+scallion cream cheese and another with whitefish salad . Why pick one when you should have both?
Murray's Bagels in Greenwich Village bakes fifteen varieties of huge, chewy bagels , but you can't get any of these bagels toasted. They're hot from the oven, and that's the point. Read more
Though some turn their noses up at Murray's' no-toast policy, fresh bagels should never be toasted. Get a damn non-toasted everything bagel with lox spread ; you're in the BIG LEAGUES now. Read more
Murrays are my favorite bagels in the city , bar none. They don't toast , but the bagels are perfect the way they are. Good coffee . They keep the line moving, even at rush hour.
Even if it's crowded , the line at Murray's moves quickly and is worth the wait. Tons of cream cheeses to choose from, try one with the whole wheat everything bagel !
Best bagel in W. Village . If you like your bagels bigger and a little more on the chewy side, go here! FYI: they don't toast , but it ain't necessary.
$10 lox bagel seemed a bit pricey at first, but so deliciously worth it, and they're generous with portions. The bagel doesn't come toasted though, and the coffee was a little burnt
Ok yes they are slow, but they're busy for a reason. Really great bagel lox cream cheese when you really need it!
Everyone says get the lox , and they're not wrong. But Russ & Daughters has as good lox , so you should really get what Murray's does best: whitefish salad on a bagel . They'll put a 1/2 pound on, too.
Best bagels in the city . If you're getting one made at the store, ask for them to go relatively light on the cream cheese (otherwise it might be overloaded)
whitefish salad on a freshly made bagel . the long line is worth it, but move quickly, know your order, and never *ever* ask to have your bagel toasted (they're freshly made on premises!)
Bagels are always warm because they're fresh out of the oven. Stopping in here for an egg-bagel sandwich on the way to work is a must if you live in the area. Even if you don't, it's worth the detour.
Can be quite busy on weekend mornings, making it hard to find a table. If you go with others, try to have someone in your party secure a table while the rest order.
All of the spreads are on point. My personal favorite is the sarcastic sol on an everything bagel (both whitefish salad and nova lox ).
Love it! Tasty Whole wheat with the best Scottish salmon I’ve tried. Huge bagel sandwich for only $12. And they deliver !
Delicious bagels that I crave almost daily. The health grain bagel is probably my fav, it's so hearty, and with veggie cream cheese ..mm!Do not ask them to toast your bagel though. I repeat, do not.
They don't toast the bagels , they don't need to. They do make the best tuna salad in the city . Put it on an everything bagel and stink-breath away your Sunday.
This place isn't over rated. Believe the hype. Wait in line . Get the whole wheat everything bagel with whatever you want. Be amazed. Welcome to NYC.
Strawberry cream cheese bagel with medium black coffee is my favourite after-workout snack . Bagel is amazing, coffee only so-so, but together they form irrestisible combo!
Bagel is soft and big. Tried everything and seseme bagel . Both were good and not salty. Cream chesse is good and has proper balance.
Possibly the best bagels in the city , you have to try the whitefish salad . The knishes are delicious too.
Pastrami Lox on an Everything Bagel and Chive Cream Cheese is yum! But my usual is the Veggie Cream Cheese on a Rye Bagel , simplicity at its best!
Best bagels in the area. Generous with spreads and toppings. Bench outside is great for people watching

What better way to start your morning than with Counter Culture from Murray’s with a egg , cheese , avocado on a bagel/wrap? #doneright
I stick with an Everything bagel covered with scallion cream cheese , because I'm basic. Also: Counter Culture coffee !
Scallion cream cheese is the bomb. Pair it with an everything bagel to make life perfect.
Unbelievable bagel & Lox . Highly recommend. Cool, hip , bagel joint. Fast, efficient and a hell lot of taste.
Whole wheat everything bagels and fat free choice cream cheese - the way to my heart. Bagels a bit dense / doughy but amongst the best.
Whole wheat everything bagel , plain cream cheese and lox is my favorite Sunday breakfast choice, especially from this place!
So delicious! Get the Sarcastic Sol on an everything bagel - Eastern Nova Scotia salmon , homemade whitefish salad , lettuce, tomato , onion . YUM!
Bagels aren’t that great. Pretty generic place. For a really good bagel I’d go to Brooklyn Bagel
Still bagels are great here. Go here for a quick bite whenever you’re nearby.
Expect to wait at least 20 min on a Sunday morning - but it really is a really, really good bagel . Choose from one of their many types of salmon !
Solid bagels , but $3.75 for a plain + strawberry cream cheese seems a bit steep? I'd recommend Brooklyn Bagel (bigger portions/menu) or Bagels on the square ($1.80).
Classic, hand pulled NY bagels . Delicious house cured meats and Lox . Shallot cream cheese is awesome
long Sunday morning line but the wholewheat everything bagel is worth the short wait .
Traditional bagels place , loved the first 3 bites but then it's a bit too creamy for my French taste
2 eggs on an everything bagel with Canadian bacon , cheddar , and peppers is a great way to start the day.
The best bagel sandwiches ! The Rivington Street was absolutely delicious!
Incredible, huge bagels – packed with fillings and delicious. Bacon , egg and cheese for breakfast is a treat.
If you're going on a weekend, expect a long wait . If the line is at the door it will be about 30mins. That said, it's worth it.
bagel was a little tough for my taste, and the tomatoes and red onion didn't taste that fresh :( scallion cream cheese was yummy though. maybe I'll try something else next time I'm in the nieghborhood
Tomato , egg and cheddar ! Awesome bagels and great coffee ...just don't go when you're in a hurry...takes a long time.
Very solid bagel joint in a part of the city with not many great bagel options
Worth the wait. If you are patient enough, the tobiko-caviar spread is a must try! - PureWow
Delicious, amazing bagels. try their lox, scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel. - Savina KimJohnson
Bring at minimum 4 friends so you can share a good enough variety. Crush the following in no particular order: French toast (!!), fish tower, salami eggs and sticky buns. Bagels are amazing as well. - Kevin O'Neill
Beautiful, European style park. Occasional live music and outdoor chess makes it a hit. - Gajtana Simonovska
Amazing place to read or walking, i like the mood a little mellow, a little happy. Great views of the city. - Santiago Caicedo
Quirky place filled with interesting characters. A definite must see in NYC. - Scott Kleinberg
