My favorite bakery in Madrid . A must stop if you're near Sol. If you want to sit there are tables upstairs. Try the napolitana de chocolate with a cafe con leche.
People, all over! There is a reason why this place is always packed! Its delicious pastires, the smell upon entering...And its such a tough choice! I picked a "roscon"and did not regret it at all ????????
Famous sweet shop. People come for breakfast and get a hot chocolate and pastry for breakfast and eat it at the counter.
Often crowded but their breads are pretty good. Got a croissant and coffee and ate standing with the locals. There tables upstairs. Next to Sol station. Worth checking out if you're in the area.
A Madrid institution! Do what Madrilenos do, have yourself a breakfast of locals. A coffee with a pastry or two of your choice.
Grab a ticket and wait for the upstairs seating, service was slow but worth it. My favourite was the jamon croissant , then the napolitana
A bakery that's been around since 1894, and also on Eater Madrid's Essential 38 list, so worth a visit for historical reasons, if not for the sweets, which are okay, but not fresh
They're napolitanas are by far the best I've had (the chocolate to croissant ratio is ON POINT). They're carrot cake is also surprisingly really good!
When the best and most loving pastries I ever have finally surrender their sugar-dusted souls, here is where they'll go.
You should try chocolate napolitan and cafe con leche????
Very good coffee and cake and very vibrant atmosphere, felt like a window to another time :)
One of the oldest bakeries in Madrid ! You can get a small box of mini pastries for 4.50 if you can’t decide on just one thing.
This old fashioned looking pastry shop has apparently it changed anything since the 70’s. Even the waiters seem to be from those years. We loved the food and the coffee was decent.
a local bakery with long history, from 1894. it's interesting to see local people stand by the bar to have breakfast . but the pastry is too sweet
'Napolitana de crema '. Eat it. You won't regret it. Delicious pastry .
yummy. cakes , cheesecakes and ice cream are awesome. The place is very stylish .
The most typical patisserie in Madrid. Good cakes but it's you'll have to wait and they're a bit bad-mannered. Siempre lleno y un poco bordes.
The only thing that I never forget about this restaurant is the worst service ever when you order to eat in upstairs although friendly staffs downstairs. Overall, their pastries were okay or even less
The crema Napolitana wasn't as good as everyone's raving about. Try & get a table near the window. Good for people watching .
Awesome pastries and good coffee ! Packed with people for a good reason.
Delicious bakery with indoor seatings upstairs
Dont miss this place ???? amazing sweets and choices of cakes , pastries , candies ... ????????
The chocolate napolitana was tasty
Everything pastry
The napoletana de chocolate was ????????
Best latte and croissant of my life! Eat a pastry and sip your coffee at the bar .
The buns and pastries were great. Omlettes , not the kind that i fancy
A Madrilleño institution. Instead of getting coffee to go; get it at the bar with a pastry . Pastries are eaten with a fork and knife.
Go upstairs and order. Napolitana con crema : delicious
Please you must to eat the best "Napolitana de crema " ever!!!!!!
Very good tortel, caracola and mugis. And if course napolitana .
Serving desserts and coffee since 1894. Try the napolitana !
Really sweet but quick and easy, very Spanish. Palmera is gigantic but good
Delicious pastries ! Great breakfast spot .
A must! Everything is great, but beware its always crowded .
Get anything, it's all baked perfectly and tastes amazing!
Stand at the bar ! Upstairs is seated area, boring!
It's very crowded but the pastiries are delicious
The croissants and buns were great.
Typical Spanish patissery . Too much sugar and cream. But worth to visit. To eat at the bar .
Reasonably priced and very sweet pastry .
Pastries , dessert , cookies , cakes
Not napoliten de chocolate you should eat napoliten de creme!
Very nice napolitanas .
Nice place for coffee with deserts
No cappuccino , café con leche or espresso only.
Best quality desserts ...
Yummy sugar bombs!!
So crowded , you can't find place to eat. Cakes are okay.
Nothing so special but good for a coffee break.
Try the Pumpkin seeds nougat. All of their products are incredibly tasty. - Nancy Andrade
Lovely historic square with a great atmosphere. Nice place for a beer or tapas. Bit pricey. Very touristy. But love it - Mark
It's the heart of Madrid, the meeting point for everyone (including myself ;) It's the Taksim square - like place in Madrid. It's the place where I gave a first warm hug to her , sigh ... - Yusuf Buğbul
Great seafood cerveceria at the main entrance. Must try the octopus and green pimiento. - Sergey Bundalevsky
