I was in NYC for only 2 weeks. I was looking for something but I didn't know what "thing" until know this bar . Really nice experiences. Go alone, sit in the corner and wait for the magic

I had the burger with bacon , was fantastic. Fun crowd, good mix of locals and tourists . Had bottled beer , and it was nice and cold! The bartenders are great, good service . I will be back for sure!!!!

Get the chicken club (ask for spicy mustard on the side) and a cup of their coffee to offset food coma. It will set your afternoon on the perfect trajectory.

I got the bison burger . The atmosphere of fanelli is comfortable and casual . Great for a date. The burger was juicy and I asked for medium rare. Also, great service.

hard to decide which burger to recommend more... the bison or the beef ? both were rich and delicious. recommend getting salads as a side, not fries . the salad is just great.

A warm woods, old-style, basic kind of spot that seems out of place in the nabe. Hit & miss on the staff being perfectly business minded versus being a local pub spending time chatting up the patrons.

Built 1857. Saloon since 1867. Fanelli Cafe Established 1922 and continuously operated. Old-fashioned pub fare, such as meatloaf sandwiches , paired with beer and liquor .

If you eat here, the burgers are unbeatable, my favorite is the bison burger . Medium, no cheese , sweet potato fries and a glass of wine . If you're alone sit at the bar and meet the local crowd .

Grab a seat at the bar . Get Johnny to make you a Bloody Mary and grab some chicken wings . Then sit and chat to the other people next to you. Great conversations!

Really chill bar . Food is not great but it's the kind of place where regulars are plentiful and bartenders are friendly . Will def come back.

I would agree that the bloody mary's are good here but to claim this place has the best burger in nyc is way off!! The food is good and the bartenders was attentive. 3 stars of 5 for total experience.

Cozy , somewhat dive-y spot that's perfect for a bowl of clam chowder on a rainy day.

This is my favorite neighborhood bar that's not in my neighborhood . Everyone's friendly--bartender, waiters , patrons. Great for mid-afternoon imbibing!

The Wings are the crispiest I've had in a while, the sauce is simple and good, although I wish the wings came tossed in sauce instead of dunk-em-yourself.

Warm atmosphere definitely good for a lunch on a rainy day, always busy and not always only packed with tourists . Besides the famous burgers the salads are small but good too.

Try the Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich - Great sized portion and such a tasty sandwich - the smoked Gouda makes it!!!
