Definitely one of the uglier locations as others have said, lots of weights though. Has been incredibly crowded at peak times lately.
I like the multi-level weight area here, they have a good crop of machines. The building has a lot of history, also.
Recently rebranded from a golds gym (as of 7/11) impressive space -tons of equipment and a pretty legit looking smoothie/shake bar . Downside- small showers and only one hair dryer in womens lockerroom
I have been training with Shayna and she really cares about her clients. It's not just during our sessions but keeps in contact with support all the time. She has made me excited about fitness.
If you come before 6am, you'll practically get the entire weight room to yourself - minus a few friendly regulars who have to get into work just as early as you
For those popular classes (mainly anything spin-related), reserve your space online to make sure you get in! Reservations open 36 hours before class , check-in at least 15 minutes before.
BodyArt at 12:30 on Mondays with Joe. Get there if you've always dreamed of having a booty-licious posterior. This is a class that works your whole body from the inside out.
One of the uglier Crunch locations - they obviously took over another gym and did minimal refurb. Three levels with small staircase and the workout rooms have no windows and feel claustrophobic.
As clubs go it's decent. Locker rooms tight. Plenty of classes .
Don't forget a water bottle! I love this gym but there is only one water fountain in the whole place
Derric 's yoga class is one of the best in the city ! It will get you sweaty and centered.
Very good post workout smoothies . Can create your own too.
One of the few gyms in Manhattan above ground. Also, hard core fusion with Nathan K. Is awesome
Definitely take Zuta's Zumba class . It's a good cardio workout and loads of fun!!!
Spin-instructor Tyler is a ray of sunshine and pushes you, but makes class like a Glee episode
Three floors...can get a little lost trying to find things. Pretty crowded .
Definitely has a Hell's Kitchen vibe to it...men's locker room is intense
Stopping in after work, and disgusted by all the noobs using the squat rack for, well , not squats. GTFO!
Heather's Friday spin class is worth traveling for. She's great!
Come to class 20 minutes in advance. Otherwise they give your spot up
Good location and yoga class
Try a class with sol or zuta
Could use a good cleaning , especially the showers . Felt stuffy and crowded .
One month membership 135 USD for you visitors.
Yoga with Derric is well worth the early wake up!
Zuta g- Fridays 5pm Zumba is the BEST :)
Try to get her between 3 and 5 pm not to crowded !
This gym is awful! On rare occasions are there hot water AND clean towels.
This Crunch needs remodeling. One of the worst in the area.
Yay new bikes !
Ghetto gym , ghetto people. Don't even bother.
Прикольный зал!!! различные групповые классы !! Но много homosexual )))
crunch is the perfect gym for healthy youngsters--they have an awesome summer deal for students. - Natalia Quintero
I disagree with Michael. I also have an all-city pass and love this Crunch. It may be smaller than other locations but it's clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly. Class offerings are solid! - Matt Falber
Never too crowded to get a machine, even at peak hours. Classes are very popular so be sure to reserve a spot. The music is wayyy too loud. You need your earphones at full blast to overcome it. - Danielle Carrick
They have the best hot & cold food buffet. I've been to a few whole foods and this is top notch baby!!! :-p - Luis Lopez
Delish raw vegan spirulina cake from the incredibly well stocked raw cake shelf by the juice bar at the back! With a glass of choc almond milk it was the perfect treat for a day like this ???? - Elevine Berge
Really fun for Christmas shopping and the holiday spirit mode! I love the shopping here in general! The horse rides are fun too! They also have ice skating at walman rink - Caroline K
