This is one of M. St hidden gems . The desserts selection and the coffee options are great. I come here to order the beignets , I enjoy dipping the beignets in my coffee . An absolute pleasure of mine????
The Gegrilltes Lachsfilet is light & refreshing, yet filling: grilled salmon filet , crushed cucumbers , Medjool dates, fennel , walnuts & basil oil.
Start off with the Heurigenplatte, which offers some great cured meats & cheeses , along with a sweet fig jam and dried fruits .
Amazing Austrian cafe tucked away in the heart of Georgetown. The food is fantastic—fresh ingredients and well prepared—and the pastries are delicious. Don’t forget to try the Sachertorte!
I took the chicken salad , the chicken is not seasoned well and it’s actually grilled chicken with greens on the side not a salad . The place is nice with an outdoor area
Very enjoyable European fare with a particularly great brunch . Got Mediterranean flatbread brunch alongside banana crepes . Great dining experience, especially in the heart of Cady’s Alley.
Baked chocolate mousse with coffee ice cream is on point. Emperor pancake is better for 2 people and a good non-sweet dessert . Coffee was great. Apple strudel was great too
Came here on a busy weekend with a line out the door to get in. Ended up walking past the line and grabbing 2 seats at the bar , no wait. They have Eggenberg Pils on draft and a boatload of sweets.
The ham and cheese scones are fantastic. Also, the Leopold's Omelette came with a very generous portion of Chilean sea bass (stuffed inside).
I always seem to get the Croque Madam . It's perfectly crafted here. Check out the deserts on Your way out!
Get the pastry basket with your brunch - it's so delicious. On a nice day, sit outside. Might be wait but they text you when your table is ready.
Nice, clean water bowls for your dog in an intimate courtyard with a fountain . Very European, from the excellent cafe au lait/desserts to the kind, welcoming attitude towards pets . A favorite of ours.
Get the Tartine (mozzarella , prosciutto , a mountain of mushrooms ) and add an over easy egg on top. The best!
Turn on 30th street- down ally! Hard to find but very cool place. No French toast . German breakfast and pancakes /waffles
The Bitches say: B+. Kafe Leopold is a quaint cafe with an extensive international menu and patio seating . It's a good retreat from the hustle and bustle of M Street. Read more
Great location in Georgetown with delicious light takes on Austrian cuisine. Everything is made with meticulous care and you will not be disappointed. They also have great coffee and desserts .
It's got charm, an outdoor patio , fluffy lemon pancakes , and a long window display full of chocolate desserts . Great for the morning before the inauguration. And maybe the morning after. Read more
Quite scene-y on a Saturday night. Louboutins everywhere. Service= sweet but unobtrusive to a fault. Karamell Grey cake = wonderful. Delightful oasis, esp on a Sunday afternoon. VERY dog-friendly, too.
Great place to have a brunch . Lots of sunlight and white themed interior. Skip orange juice , it wasn’t fresh! Desserts are good.
Gorgeously chic cafe . Came for dessert , but the food looked so delicious that I wished we were eating real food as well ! So good!
Ok this place is really tough to find, but worth the trip! It's actually across the street from the odd-numbered side of M Street, down a flight of stairs in a little courtyard called Cady's Alley.
Nice area. I went for breakfast but I think it's better as a lunch or dinner venue. Breakfast has a limited menu. AC was way too hot for a cold day when I got there but they turned it down on request.
Fresh and flavorful steak tartare and crispy chips . Amazing dish.
The cutest little European (Austrian) cafe hidden away in Georgetown
Cute cafe with great meal options, pretty desserts and fabulous cocktails . Sit in the courtyard on a beautiful day
One of my fav spots in DC. Don't miss the moulange latte a must try ????????
Croque Madame . Get it. Pan au chocolait. Get it. This place is great for breakfast , brunch or lunch . Great outdoor seating
Com her for a coffee and q desert !! I got Mohr in mehd and it was great.!!
Must-brunch-here. Croque Madame and Leopold Omelet . Try the trio tea sandwiches ! All of them are all worth trying.
The savory tarts are out of this world! The desserts taste as good as they look, which is saying a lot because they're so lovely. Croque madame and trout hash , yum!
The food here is fabulous but our service was a little slow. We had second thoughts about dessert because it took so long for our server to circle back to us. The food really is phenomenal though.
They have nice selection of Desserts ????
We also got the traditional type breakfast with the ham and eggs . Everything was soooo yum!!
The coffee here is fantastic. And comes with their own chocolate .
Such a hidden gem ! Coffee , salads and tea sandwiches are unique! Such a cool atmosphere!
Café au lait and go for one of the classic deserts .
Pastries , brunch , coffee and atmosphere. Lovely patio in nice weather.
The pastries are great and the waffles are amazing!!
I love this place. Service & food were superb!
Not your typical Austrian/German place. Refined atmosphere and dishes. It was delicious and a great surprise!
Amazing place and perfect coffee ???? and I lovveed the apple strudel ????????
Try the Truffled Grits with 18 Month Serrano Ham ! Delicious!!!
service is beginning to lack... a little expensive , however. go here strictly for the tea sandwiches , drinks, coffee and desserts . the fraisier cake is to die for!
Calamari and the steak are delicious!
Nice area. I went for breakfast but I think it's better as a lunch or dinner venue.
Don't leave without having a pastry . Rich and so filling!
