The Ox is still one of the best pubs in Manchester, great venue, friendly staff , varied choice of beer and fabulous food.
Nice pub with a coal stove fire. Although it's a bit rowdy and the vegetables that came with the Braised Ox Cheek were mostly undercooked

Fish 'n' chips are lovely, this is a relatively small piece of fish compared to usual.
Goats cheese is a winnnnnner, cause "it really kicks the lhama's ass, baaa"

Great for kids. They often have stuff on kids can get involved with. The shop is well stocked and it has a small but quite good picnic area inside where the planes are. Great day for kide - Rachel Clarke
