Seriously amazing hotel ! I've traveled all over the States and World, and this hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in! Breathtaking views !
Hotel only offers valet parking , for $32/day (plus tips). The valet will park your car in the multi-story directly across Columbia St., which charges $15/day if you do it yourself.
Stop by the bar and try one of their specialty cocktails !! So many to chose from and all delicious!!
The rooms are comfortable and with the usual Westin amenities . There are a many curtains, so if you prefer a very dark room have a mask ready. Breakfast buffet is excellenand except for the pastries .
Forget the valet parking , park in the lot across the street on Columbia (it's where valet parks your car). $20 across the street, $40 to valet i the same lot.
Breakfast Buffet is amazing; Blueberry Pancakes , Musli Cups, Eggs Benedict, Ham , Bacon , Chocolate Bagels ...
The fruit water is great! They have increased them to four. The restaurant is cozy too.
Update on the parking prices: Hotel Valet is now $44, self-park across the street is $25.
Brian is the shit!!! He will call Broadway Pizza and have them deliver to your room until 4am!!!! #ballin
floor 2 has hidden balcony
Nice rooms, great lobby. Free coffe in the mornings in the bar area
Standard corporate hotel with enough to do within walking distance. Watch the free computers closely! They may overcharge u
Conveniently located within walking distance of the train station .
If you leave your workout clothes at home, they provide like new New Balance shoes and all the works for $5.
Forgot to pack sneakers , but you can rent nice New Balances for $5 a day!
Beds are super comfy !My only complaint is the fragrance/scent in the rooms & common areas of the hotel . Allergies galore!
#Best #breakfast deal at the #Westin #SanDiego cafe , HUGE #burrito made to order!
Loved the view from the 19th floor (pacific ocean/bay) and the glass elevator ride on the way up!
The 'spa ' at this Westin is almost non-existent. There's a spa two blocks north - Spa Velia on B street between Columbia and State St.
In-room Wifi is $13/day, or $40/week. Seems to be per device, too. It's free for hotel residents in the lobby only. Should be free, room rates already high for a hotel needing refurbishment
Great welcome flavored waters..and good location close to gaslamp
Always nice! Perfect location with awesome service.
Love the cucumber water downstairs in the lobby!!
Location and homely old Westin everything
Potentially the worse downtown hotel I've ever stayed in :0(. Just one little piece but could you clean the windows once in awhile??
Rooms are a little tired, overdue for a refresh. Not up to the usual Westin standard (though still better than many). Still a Westin from a service level perspective, thankfully.
Everything has six sides here...
Travel a fair bit and this #westin has a lot of room for improvement. Room is hot (AC sucks - no pun intended), every employee you ask a question to seems like you are bothering them!
I love the fruit water that is down in the lobby, 3 different options.
You booked on Hotwire? Congrats, fair deal. You laid the first price? Damn, wifi costs ridiculously much, rooms are decent but not great, pool looks kind of sad.
We had our company party here, food was good but some of the logistics could be improved
Very nice staff , confortable beds and nice view on San Diego harbour
Manager Amy Beck needs some additional training with her customer service soft skills. Rolling eyes at a customer, who wants to give the hotel money, should never be part of the hospitality experience
Well located and nice rooms. Pricey
Refresh and rehydrate with watermelon , pineapple or grapefruit infused water in the lobby.
Dog Friendly !!
'Double' rooms are literally two double beds, not the typical two queens. They will provide a rollaway bed on request at no charge, subject to availability.
Breakfast at the hotel is pricey for distinctly average food and selection. There's several other choices nearby, like the Grand Central Cafe at 500 Broadway.
Thankfully, a Smokefree hotel !
The bar area is not big enough and lack speedy service. Would be nice to have tap beer
Emerald Plaza monument is a kind of artistic artwork :)
Hot tub is a great temp- nice and hot! 3rd floor.
This place rocks and the Front desk staff are the best I've ever experienced!
Shane at the Front Desk knows how to treat customers right
Ask for Littlefield - very attentive and rocks the bar .
Comfy beds , hot shower , nice people helping us.
Duh. It’s a Westin!
free fridge in your room!
Loving the seven pillows and two comforters!
Poke !! Is a must
Get a rubdown in the curtain room. - Gabe_Cera 7
Good place within the hotel to get a light snack/ quick bite like a small sandwich, a soda or a slice of marble cake. - Juan Hernandez
The slowest breakfast service EVER! Ordered at 8:10 am; checked on food at 8:35 & were told runner was on his way. Still no food at 9 am! When it came out only 4 of 6 orders were correct! Wow! - Susan King
Beautiful hotel and super close to the airport. Great staff. - Sean Collier
Amazing staff throughout the hotel. From front desk, housekeeping, dining, etc. Everyone was just spot on. The location and the historical building is great for a special weekend getaway. - Luke Wang
The service is the best, great rooms and views. And all for very fair prices. - Tracy Morgan
Aurora's the best for this summer weather...and chilli fries (sweet potato) are awsome...If Hungría try its Burger or the ribeye, both are great. - Omar Sanchez
Barista was very friendly! A bit short staffed but they all seemed happy. - Shirley Gillette
