Take the Wolf Ridge Trail for one of the most gorgeous coastal hikes in California. Dogs do need to be on leash here, however you can (and should) stop by Rodeo Beach after where they can run free. Read more
This is an absolute must see spot in the SF area. There are plenty of spots to stop and view along the way up. The first stop is the most crowded , so wait for the next couple. Views are just as great.
You’ll have to cross the bridge for this one, but it’s worth it. Skip the tourist lookout and go up to the headlands. You’ll get a better (and less crowded ) view and Instagram-worthy panoramas. Read more
The Headlands are full of amazing hikes ! Park at the visitors center and choose a route through the hills or to a beach .
Just across the Golden Gate Bridge , get panoramic, romantic views of the bridge , San Francisco skyline, the Bay , the ocean and beyond. Beautiful whether clear or fogged over.
Driving over the Golden Gate, take your first left and wrap around into the Marin Headlands, the lush preserve that offers the most breathtaking vistas in the Bay Area, foggy or bright-skied.
Amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Sam Francisco from here!! Super scenic !
Multiple viewpoints of the Golden Gate Bridge from this Park in Marin County . Be patient as there is limited parking .
Hike or cycle all the way to the top. Gorgeous 360˚ views of the area!
Great spot for a photo op, 1st vista point is the best I think cause you are looking along side the golden gate. At the top you're looking at the side of the bridge .
If you're here in the park , stop by the visitor center for a free trail map! If you want to spend the night, head to the hostel on Rosenstock road ! It's a great & affordable place to stay!
Unobstructed views of one of the most gorgeous cities in the world. You can see it all from here, the Golden Gate, Alcatraz, The TransAmerica Pyramid, Coit Tower.
nice trail to walk. nice view . can be really chilly when it's windy
Heading north bound over the Golden Gate Bridge skip the crowded "Vista Point " and take the next exit toward the Marin Headlands. The view of the city and bridge is surreal from up there.
Drive up Conzelman Road to Hawk Hill , it's the furthest you can go before having to turn around or drive down the one way road . Hawk Hill is the best place to take photos of the city & the bridge .
Great views but at the weekends too much traffic, hard to find a good spot. Still when you go up and up you will find one...
Hit four beaches at once (Rodeo, Tennessee Valley, Pirates Cove, and Muir)
If you're visiting the Bay Area, stop by here on the final day. It'll leave you with a beautiful memory.
If you want to see lots of stuff, this is a good place to do it.
Good for photographer to take a really nice pics ????
I came here while trying to get to the Golden Gate and walk across. It’s nice but I didn’t get to spend much time here.
Go by bike in the morning before it gets crowded
One of most beautiful and most remote places you can find in a major metro
Stop at the 1st or 2nd pullout up the Morin Headlands. Both offer stunning views and photo opportunities of the Golden Gate Bridge and surrounding landscape.
Lots of paths to explore. Bridge/lighthouse with limited times, check before you make the trip.
Nike missile site with actual nike missiles (deactivated) and Marin mammal center are both with a look
An awesome view of the risks and ocean
Drive as up as possible to get an amazing view of th bridge and city !

National Park Service did a helluva job. Must have cost a fortune. Visit to enjoy your tax dollars & the view .
Make sure to travsl off the beaten path! There're so many cool old structures to run around on!
Difficult to access without a car, but this scenic drive has stunning views .
Great view on the Golden gate bridge !!
Be prepared for a hike to and from the beach !
The fishing is good
Take the coastal path to get the best views .
You can see nearly everything from here. Clear day? Look for the Farallons.
