This photography museum is less known than the other photography museum of Amsterdam . Personally I like the exhibitions here more than at FOAM. The museum is located in a beautiful historic building .
Very interesting temporary photo selections, in a great canal house. The garden is a peaceful oasis too, deserves a visit.Check out the featured photo collections before going!
Well-curated exhibitions for those who love photography . In contrast to the big museums , nice and compact. Located in a beautiful historic building - already that is worth a visit in itself.
Absolutely adore the architecture of the building. The layout of art was easy on the eyes and the exhibition was mostly captivating.
Fun museum , great book selection in their shop. It’s quite a small museum so you get through it quickly.
Love the old styled building. The collection from this time was not quite near my liking but oh well , this is a personal quote. Don't forgot to check out the garden !
Awesome and large photo museum . Don't forget to enjoy the silence in the garden .
Gorgeous building and one of my favorite museums in Amsterdam. Never crowded and only 8€ for admission.
Excellent photography museum . Multiple floors with multiple featured artists . Nice book shop as well .
Friendly , helpfull staff . Lots of photography books , don’t forget to visit the garden
Keep an eye on its photography collection, usually high quality in a awasome building
Best photography museum of Amsterdam . Brand isn't as strong as FOAM's. But the content is usually amazing.
Stunning building! Great exhibition on North KoreA
Fairly abstract art gallery , but the Marie Antoinette exhibit was interesting
Great amount of art magazines and the best machine-coffee I've tried in the basement . And don't forget their nice garden .
Great expo of photographer Stephen Shore in a beautyful historic building
After FOAM one of the best photography museums in Amsterdam
Really nice! Russian exposition was great!
My favourite photography gallery/museum in Amsterdam.
rotating exhibitions of single artists . Now showing Hooft Graafland, odd compositions in stunning places
Very interesting photo selection and building
Great contemporary photo museum
Very nice out of the way and small photo museum if you're not into the big haul foam but still want to see some stuff.
Strange concept to place text telling stories about the pictures 1 metre high After half an hour your neck and back hurts...
Excellent temporary Exposition "point of view "
excellent space for art shows...

Prachtige tuin .
Great gallery of Mr. Araki. Very touching. Although with small corridors and a lot of stairs, the place feels very artistic and complements the artwork. - Sissy Tsk
Another great museum with various collections to explore! The courtyard is a great place to relax, have drink and read a book! - Thetis T
Nice, Nice, Nice. One of the best museums in Europe. - Albert Jan Bloemendal
Chill place in central Amsterdam. Nice place to catch up on some mails and the coffee tea is very good - Clive McNabb
Really good museum that uses new technology to make you relive history. I liked the part the most, where you could watch the city planners discuss their plans for the canals. - Hanna Mod
If you didn't manage to get a ticket online, head down after 3pm as the queue is greatly reduced. A must visit in Amsterdam, though - Ant Burrows
