If you're a fan of photography go to Foam! It was a good sized museum with 3 exhibitions when I was there but could be done in just a few hours. Not too crowded and has coat check/free lockers

Possibly my favorite museum in Amsterdam . I've seen many beautiful photography exhibitions here, and the building itself is worth checking out too.

Art museum focused in photography . Very trendy place , you will spot some hipsters . They have gift shop , café , library . I was there in January and got to se both Vivian Maier and Araki. Amazing work!

We saw the Swinging Sixties London exhibition . It was well crafted and showed the new glamour of the time. Good little cafe on the bottom floor too.

I had high expectations but I liked only one of the three exhibitions . I wanted to see more experimental techniques and hidden stories of everyday life captured by different photographers ’ lenses.

Photomuseum. Sometimes the expositions are awesome, sometimes they suck, but I always like to be here in the building.

Saw London in the Swinging Sixties photography exhibition recently, which was great! It's a cool venue with good facilities.

Great museum and fantastic building. Don't forget to visit the shop which is full of gifts perfect for design fanatics and art lovers.

One of my favourite museums . Changeling exhibitions only, no permanent collection. Visit and re-visit whenever you can and do not miss their annex in Felix Meritis.

Great gallery of Mr. Araki. Very touching. Although with small corridors and a lot of stairs, the place feels very artistic and complements the artwork.

spend an hour some afternoon here, maybe get an espresso in the cafe . some great points of inspiration, especially in style and technique

Lovely museum on the canals . The cafe in the basement is worth checking out. Quality of the exhibits can be erratic.

Contemporary photography is the name of the game. If the line to enter stretches out the door, don't panic. It moves quickly, unlike at the Anne Frank house.

Not as big as you would expect. But the look&feel of the museum compensates it. Great structure and use of the different rooms.

Interesting exhibitions . Worth a visit

Overpriced for the amount of space available for exhibitions . The amount of space they do have is not used very effectively. It's also safe to say the curator's tastes differ greatly with mine.
