You don't need Apple Care . If your Mac has any problems that are NOT caused by user error, they'll fix it. They backup their products. Which is why I'm MAC4Life
Unfortunately this is the least professional/poorest customer service I have received from any Apple Store during my travels.

Try the One to One training . You get personalized instruction for an entire year. I've learned so many "tricks" that people thing I'm technologically inclinded, which I'm not.
If you're going in for a genius bar appointment , wearing something distinctive helps them find you when it's your turn!
