Very Good Service

Excellent seafood , several visits, loved the fish pie . Best is to sit at the counter or outside if nice weather. Avoid seats near the door, can be very drafty. Very good service .

Slynky Cat

As others have said try the Oyster Shooter . Fresh raw Morecambe Bay oyster in Wright Brothers' special spicy Bloody Mary blend. Eat the caper , then down the shot then bite the lemon . Very good.

Murad Ahmed

Great oysters . Tried the selection and preferred the UK oysters over the Irish or the very skinny Jersey. Great service such a far cry from dodgy steak place opposite. Porter 1850 was very nice.

Slynky Cat

Always book in advance. V. popular. Special Japanese Oysters are absolutely amazing & very moreish. Soy, Ginger & fresh Wasabi make this a brilliant combination. So good we ordered more.

Heidi Chen

Popular seafood place at the edge of Borough Market . Had the Hake Fillet special, was fantastic! Also tried the oysters with pickled strawberries and mint , highly recommended!

Jason H.

Brusque service is a bit off putting but the Japanese oysters and fresh fish options will make you a fan. Excellent food. Be warned though - not the most comfortable place to sit and enjoy dinner .

Lucille Fisher

Excellent seafood , always fresh & deliciously prepared. Friendly & very knowledgable staff . It's always a pleasure to come here. Reservations a must.

Adunni Adams

For the love of all things oyster ! Wonderful varieties and creative twists on traditional methods of preparing these beauties. Comprehensive but not unwieldy wine list. Can’t recommend enough.

Enzo Martinelli

Perfect for a luxurious lunch with oysters and other fresh and delicious seafood served at small tables or at the counter

Peter

Lots of talk of wine and prosecco , but for me it has to be a glass of dark, rich porter that's the obvious accompaniment for seafood , and here they have it in spades. My tip: Whitstable Oyster Stout .

S Marks The Spots

A wide range of oyster variations written on blackboards above the bar , α relaxed but buzzy atmosphere , good service and affordable prices in the heart of the oldest London food market Read more

I was in Borough market branch,we had Oysters ,shallots and a bottle of wine .Food was delicious but to be honest the sparkling wines in the list are way too expensive . Vibrant atmosphere!

David G

Excellent evening eating oysters and drinking porter at the bar with my French colleague - thoroughly recommended ????

Alèxia Solé

If you like shellfish this is your place: they have a wide range variety of oysters . Highly recommended for the quality and for the service.

Try the oyster specials.New orleans is really good.If you're ok with really hot wasabi japanese one is also good. And with a glass of champagne of course

Nin L.

Fantastic seafood - if you're not an oyster lover there's plenty of choice.

Levent Akgerman

6-7 varieties of delicious oysters from UK and France. Whole crab and other seafood is very fresh.

Arran

Oysters are delicious. Good very good but it should be rated as £££ not ££ - 6 oysters , a bottle of water and beef pie was £47

Jonas de Groot

Try the oysters japanese style . With wasabi and ginger . Very nice!

Evening Standard

When a pair of oyster farmers open their own restaurant , it’s not surprising if it’s a huge hit. Our tip? Eat their oysters Japanese style with a dash of wasabi , ginger and soy. Read more

Markus F.

great lager , nice food, good atmosphere

Michael Ambjorn

Bustling, atmospheric - and consistently reliable - spot for oysters and other seafood .

Meg Farmer

Excellent spot right by Borough Market . Oysters are divine, service is impeccable.

Steve Stevens

Have always liked coming here but have to say the new front of house dude is a complete cock. Loves to make everything a problem-go to Applebees to get good seafood and avoid the pretentious Fr twerp

Lauren Rubin Tiley

Borough Market is a tourist swamp, so make the best of it with a plate of raw bar and a bottle of crisp white wine . Classic.

Paul Doran

Great food. Great atmosphere.

Joel Goodman

Had a fine lunch . Fresh oysters and very good fish .

John Long

Good sized selection of oyster varieties.

Dertie Bixon

Don't be deceived, there's no porter on tap . Otherwise though this a serviceable restaurant which is inexplicably themed on early powered flight.

Daisy Perez Esparza

the selection of rocks it's a good choice, if u like salads the tomato and scallops it's delicious

Benn G

Have a guess what's good here!

Kamen Shoylev

Great ambience and food, but a real pity about the rather intense and almost fascist service.

Ben Walton

Oysters , of course, from the Duchy of Cornwall. Look it up.

Lucia Mazzon

I have been here many times and I was very disappointed last night when the bartender impolitely told us he didn't have a table and didn't even offer us to wait at the bar . Felt unwelcome ????
