Lakeview YMCA

Excellent gym . They have cycled in a lot of new equipment in the last year that I've been a member. Very nice people. Layout is enjoyable once you understand it. Creates nice different spaces.

I'm spoiled by my home gym , the Embarcadero Y in SF. Lakeview doesn't offer free towels or a pleasant experience: confusing layout , small weight room , and many malfunctioning and dated equipment.

If you take Mondales class prepare for a 100 push-up cool down, literally. I can only do thirty in a row after years of taking it, but when I started I could only do 5...so don't get discouraged.

Straightforward, no nonesense. Come to work out vs get stared at. Be sure to check out all the rooms there's a newly opened third workout area.

Mondale will be the hardest class you ever take, but the results are worth every tear.

Wipe down the machines, please. And don't just sit there and check your phone. That said, great gym .

Someone tried to break into my locker . Make sure you have a solid lock!

Great kids swim program here. Adam does a great job.
