Ohio Street Beach

This is an awesome beach so close to Navy Pier and Michigan Avenue. It is normally not as crowded as Oak Street Beach or North Avenue Beach . Great for distance swimming as well .

Beautiful little beach right in downtown Streeterville. More low key than North Beach and a hop away from Navy Pier & the Magnificent Mile.

The sun gets blocked by the buildings around 3pm, which caused me to move inward away from the water. So definitely go earlier in the day for more sunshine

There's a nice park next to it where you can ride bike or hang out. Very close to the pier

After the beach , walk over to the Navy Pier and ride the Ferris Wheel. A perfect end to a beach day.

If you're swimming , the first red buoy is 1/4 mile (at Chicago) and the second is 1/2 mile (right before the turn to Oak St . Beach ).

It's open till 11p when the cops chase everyone out, but you can come back pretty much 20 min later after they're gone and stay at the beach all night long if you want lol

Pack your towel, sunscreen and relax on Chicago's only North facing beach . Just a super short walk from Navy Pier :)

One of the better beaches in the city hidden away from the main drag and nowhere near as crowded as North Ave , or Oak St .

They just opened a restaurant this year. I haven't tried it but its nice to have!
