Getting away from a busy center is easy in Chicago, just go here and relax in the sun, dip your feet in the cold water in the lake and get an ice cream fromy a guy who is pushing his cart around.

Grab a Chicago style hot dog at the beach cafe in the summer. Chill along Lake Michigan. Bike , rollerblade and run on the paths along Lake Shore Drive. Right near the heart of downtown. A great spot!
