Check out downstairs . . . Great little cigar bar . Decent selection of sticks. Not for those who don't like cigar smoke. Pretty smokey down here.
By far the best place in Portland to get a drink, awesome happy hour and smoke a cigar ! Check out there cigar club on Facebook at Kells cigar club!
Nestled in the heart of downtown Portland , Kell's Irish Pub has been serving the Northwest for nearly 25 years and has been a loyal Official U.S. Soccer Bar since the program’s inception in 2008.
This place has the largest whiskey selection where you can smoke cigars indoors! They have a awesome cigar club that meets on Tuesday nights at 6pm! Look them up on Facebook @ Kells cigar club!
This place has an abundance of character and a great overall ambiance. I have been in for beer and appetizers and always enjoy it.
The service, the food, the atmosphere and the live music .. All amazing. We even went in on a Saturday night and still had impeccable service , I wish I had gotten her name to recommend her.
Come join us Tuesday nights at 6pm for the Kells cigar club! It’s free and check out our Kells cigar club on Facebook for our next event !
Summertime means the back patios open. Big screens out for sports viewing and you can still enjoy the Irish tunes from inside.
Live music 7 days / week starting around 9pm. Great potato chip nachos ! Solid beer selection . Almost always a lot of fun!
Nice spot to catch up with old friends or make new ones when touring downtown Portland . Great selection on tap .
It's really a good place to go when you visit Portland. I really enjoy it.
This spot is good! The food is good! The beer is good! The service is friendly and efficient (good).
Irish meatballs and mash with a Kell's stout.....so good I could lick the bowl!! Oops, I already did.
Get the salmon fish & chips . Ridiculously delicious! & Make sure to request your fries crispy--unless you like soft fries .
I was here for an event . The whole place is appealing, and beer is good!
You must order the gorgonzola spread with fruit and the wings !!!!!! Burgers were great too!
Kell's Irish Restaurant & Pub is rated one of the best Irish pubs in America. They proudly support the Portland Timbers and are an official MLS pub !
Kells is an official Timbers pub which means they will play every televised Timbers match - with sound - all season long. View Timbers schedule here: http://www.portlandtimbers.com/schedule
Great for watching USA games but $6 beers get kinda old.
Always a fun time. Love the live music .
First visit, came just to check out cigar lounge in basement.Good ventilation. Nice to inside during bad weather.
Food is great and atmosphere lovely for an evening with friends.
The Barley risotto kale with mushrooms is amazing
Not big fan of lager but you should try Kells lager !
Be sure to try to throw a dollar at the ceiling. Look up as you enter; you'll see what I mean.
Friendly service , great food, big fan of their Hard Cider !
Great room; mediocre service; great food and poor beer
Was in town 2 days. Went both days! Lamb stew was great. Beautiful views within!!
Cigar room down low is an awesome place
Kells new Red Ale is definitely worth a try, it's like a slightly creamy Smithwicks.
Irish stew , shepherd's pie , sweet potato fries . Beer .
Fish and chips ! The chips are okay, but the Fish is fantastic.
Great live music and a good atmosphere.
The bar stools are super low but the food and beer is good
Pandemic hours only on Fri and Saturday.
The Reuben is delicious and love the pickles !
Nice Irish Pub right in the heart of Portland!
They're wings are amazing!! Jameson bbq sauce ..
Try irish nachos to share. Really good with harp beer
The shepard's pie is excellent!
Tried the Talisker 10 year on the rocks. Not bad, but too much iodine on the tongue for my taste.
I don't go for the beer or even the food... the live music is the best! On weekdays they generally have something acoustic .
Huge Whiskey selection . ask bartender about the special whiskeys from the local distilleries . Very rare. great place to watch soccer
Try the red breast! (It's a drink) lol
Finally a place in the states that has real Guinness , not the crap you see in sports bars .
We really liked the salmon and chips ! :)
Poor service and unexperienced staff . Group of 4 might have to eat their meals off of their lap if they get seated at a 2 top. Upstairs only has 3 beer choices . Watch out getting handed old menu.
Cigars with Zaya rum , never a bad combo
Irish nachos are the best!
Irish stew Worth having.
Guinness chili, big irish burger, and ravioli are all great! - Jamie Earl
Good selection of irish whiskey, and a mix of both local beers and national/international. - Jeff Martens
One of my favorite Portland bars. Stuff drinks. Great prices. And some really delicious food. Get the fries. - Jared
My personal favorite is the McMinnville Cream (love the maple frosting and the cream filling - less cakey than the rest). The voodoo doll is a must-try, their jam filling is awesome. - Rachel Mercer
Very dark underground bar, very cool. Has a pool table! Fairly good prices. - Ko Ricker
Loooove this market. Huge variety of food, eco-friendly clothing and miscellaneous crafts. If I lived in Portland I would come here every weekend! - Rebecca
