This humble Castro favorite is known for their al pastor , which is of course the best thing to have on a plate of nachos . They're also not shy with toppings, expect mountains of meat, guac , pico , etc. Read more
The vegetable burritos are amazing. A steal for the low low price of $5. Also try the green salsa . If you bring a little extra back home, it goes well with scrambled eggs .
While Castillito is one of the more humble taquerias about town , they're also a Castro favorite. Grab lunch here today and order the al pastor tacos . They aren't shy with the toppings here. It's good. Read more
Their quesasillas are top notch. The veggie quesadilla with a fruit juice to water down the spicy salsas at the salsa bar is one of the best deals in sf no doubt
Vegetable (different then the vegetarian ) burrito and quesadilla are amazingly delicious! The best veggie burrito I've had in SF thus far and made even better by swapping guacamole for avocado . Yummo!
Wow, the wet burrito with pastor is astonishingly tasty and happily feeds two people. It's almost too much for the plastic cutlery to handle, I'm considering bringing my own next time!
The fish here is delicious. They'll cook up fresh fish if they're out, no questions asked. Burritos , tacos , quesadillas , doesn't matter; it's all great. Their pastor is also bomb.
Their food is so good!! I love their fajitas especially the prawn . It's big enough to share with two people if you get extra tortillas !
Best burrito so far in SF. Go wet burrito with advocado, cheese and cream. Top it off with some jalapeños and you're good to go for a week .
Can we just accept the fact that it was the best burrito I’ve tried in my life (and I had more than 50 different ones)?
They serve food fast here. Cash only . If you can't decide between pastor or carnitas , you can combine both. You're welcome.
Beers at nearby Lucky 13 followed by an al pastor super burrito at Castillito is basically the perfect afternoon with friends.
Their Pastor is outstanding, best I've had in the city . Critically, you should have them add pickled jalapeños to whatever it is you're eating as the two in combination is mind blowing.
Really good breakfast burrito , and burritos in general. Also quesadillas and tacos . Love the salsa verde .
Noticed this sign below the menu today; Apparently, they have a veggie burrito . I'll be trying this next time I come here!
Zagat 25. Cost $9. To-die-for burritos & carnitas ; digs are a bit grungy , but service is fast, bill is small & they aren't shy with the portions – can always get your order to go.
Carnitas is the best protein here. The steak and pastor are not tasty. Horchata a bit too gritty.
The wet burrito with carnitas & verde sauce is the best burrito in San Francisco. Get it regular, of course.
San Francisco's secret best burrito . Try the Super Burrito with Al Pastor , and ask for the spinach tortilla .
When you ask for cheese on your tacos they layer melted cheese between the two corn tortillas . It's heavenly.
Classic hole in the wall taqueria with excellent burritos . Get it super!
Vegetable burrito sans tortilla on a plate (vegetable dinner plate?): huge, delicious, $5.75!
The cooks here are nice. Good vegetable burrito on spinach wrap . Ask to add an avocado instead of the guac .
Best marinated pork tacos in all of SF. Awesome people, and delicious food.
If you're me, get the al pastor super burrito . Free chips . Strong salsa game.
Most generous with topping !!!! So much flavor.
Pastor burrito yummmm
Amazingly good fresh squeezed orange juice for $3
The quesadillas are like pressed burritos without rice and beans. They're tasty.
great carnitas here! I also like the quesadilla suiza with carne asada and an avocado
Quesadilla al pastor . Like a grilled burrito , with amazing pastor.
Cheap , excellent burritos . They make it and then you pay for it.
Super veggie burrito rules! Remember to bring cash if you dare offer them a cc card or debit card they laugh in your face!
Vegetarian tacos are enormous, and all their meats are perfect.
Beef fajitas with added chorizo is the way to go.
Vegetarian quesadilla is best value. It's basically the super veggie burrito grilled. Yum! Try w/ avocado !
Generous portions , reasonable price. Their al pastor meat is one of the best I've ever had anywhere.
They make proper burritos . I'm Mexican and tend to be picky with Mexican food . This place has my seal of approval.
What a wet burrito - it was like two meals. Al pastor all the way
Their fish burrito is our if this world. With a carrot orange juice ? Perfection.
Salsa verde is amazing.
Super Burrito al pastor is the only way to go.
Get the wet burrito with salsa verde (the red sauce isn't particularly remarkable). With melted cheese & avacado on top, you'll be having one of (if not *the*) best burritos in SF.
the carnitas are really good here too but the veggie quesadilla w/ avocado is my go to
Burritos so good they can stand for themselves.
