This place is a quiet gem. The pretzel was so so good, and you get two with one order so that’s a bonus. The wine list is the perfect amount of variety without being overwhelming. Great service too!
The Ardesia kitchen slathers toast with bacon , quail eggs , and an obscene amount of foamy hollandaise . It packs all the flavor and goop of a BEC without all the heaviness. Read more
Ardesia is a true midtown utility spot. Wine and small plates in a non-cheesy environment is exactly the setup you need. Add to that its reasonable prices, friendly service , and outdoor seating .
Good wine by the glass selection. Interior is cozy and romantic , perfect for dates. Menu is mostly small sharable plates. Visit for the wine , not necessarily a dining destination.
Solid wine selection and an unassuming locale in Hell's Kitchen make this quiet spot great for dates or just kind of getting away from the bustle.
You must try the Charles Morrow - fall wine cocktail - wonderful rich mix of Madeira , rosemary Vermouth , smoked wormwood bitters . Served w a sprig of fresh rosemary . Mmmmmmm done.
Short wine selection . The kitchen is not properly exhausted so there is an intense smell of cooking fumes throughout the restaurant which makes the enjoyment of wine a little less enjoyable.
Grab a table outside and enjoy $6 glasses of wine during happy hour . Then snack on the Homemade NY Style Pretzels and delicious Artisanal Cheeses . Service is excellent but slow.
Really nice service and small plates here. And reasonable prices! It has a modern vibe but I like the atmosphere. Cheers!
I enjoyed the food and atmosphere here! I would recommend the pastrami sandwich -- very delicious. Quail Egg dish was too salty for me.
Great champagne rose & prosecco , friendly staff & comfie table by the window with good view of the space & people. Love the atmosphere & drinks, food is too salty for me though. Cheers to Ardesia! s
Good outdoor seating and a decent wine list
This sleek bar boasts a two-story wine wall. Don’t cheat yourself out of a perfect experience. Try a Bordeaux . It will be perfect whether you’re on the patio or in the lounge . You won’t be sorry.
Intimate, private, low key bar in hell's kitchen, perfect for the summer nights if you need some quiet place to unwind.
Excellent sav. Blanc. Great wines . The owner is an attorney. Great place.
This place is great! For those if us who work in midtown this is a great way to catch a drink locally while getting out of midtown madness! Great wine menu and delicious small plates !
Get the quail egg toast - decadent and comforting at the same time. Also try the cauliflower - they add breadcrumbs to give it texture.
Great selection of wine and cheese . You can find Nancy's Camembert here.
The space is amazing, the wines incredible (tons by the glass too) and their happy hour prices are even better. Same for the food.
Waitress was wine drunk. Loved her. Cute date spot ! Get the s'mores !
Hip wine bar with nice design, super staff and good vino . Try a food item.. All have been pretty decent.
Ardesia's giving the city 's foodies a delicious reason to visit Hell's Kitchen. Savor a glass of Hungarian wine , and try the spicy duck banh mi--it's giving a whole new meaning to finger food.
Everything this place serves is delicious. Come back many times to try all the small plates .
Great wine bar . Good wine selection and bar food .
Perfect place for dates and good conversations over wine ????
At this Hell’s Kitchen wine bar , the ice cream sandwiches are created with dense chocolate cake and a variety of ice cream flavors . Each sandwich is individually wrapped in paper.
Pricey wines , but the bartenders know their stuff and will point you in the right direction. I’ve never been disappointed here.
This place is amazing. Food is great, wine is excellent and they brought us a desert wine and warm cookies free of charge. Wait staff is amazing.
A charming wine bar that stands above the rest in Hell's Kitchen. Small plates are great for snacking .
Grub Street off-menu drink: Faux-Bloody Mary. "There's no vodka served at this westside wine bar . Instead, the staff infuses dry sherry with jalapeño & combines it with pimenton-spiked tomato juice ."
OMG the deviled eggs ! Topped with crispy pieces of pork rinds . Oh yeah, awesome wine selection too. ;)
Truly enjoyed the hospitality and the array of wines !!! Mood is divine. Come visit...you'll definitely enjoy!
Waiters give great suggestions on wines . Definitely suggest doing by the glass and trying different wines
Cheese plate is great - Elsa Mae was especially tasty. Also try the soft pretzels with their cheese dip .
Great outdoor space and nice wine selection .
Love the vibe, delicious espresso martini and fries with mushrooms
Great wine list , and decent beer selection . The food is refined-- try the devilled eggs !
The lounge area is super cozy . Curl up with a bottle of wine or two. Don't forget to pay with Cover.
Off the beaten path, but such a good spot! The bartenders are heavy handed with their pours. ????
This place is amazing! We ordered about 8 plates and everything was spot on. The ambiance is so chic and relaxing but not pretentious . A total win. Love it!
