Red Bamboo makes the best vegan wings I've had, and I consider myself an aficionado. They are crispy and chewy, fatty and saucy, and one order of them is enough for a meal. Read more
Been twice so far and can't wait to go again. The popcorn 'shrimp ' is a amazing and eerily realistic and the sweet and sour chicken is my favorite entree so far. They also have vegan milkshakes !
I'm an omnivore but this place is heaven on earth. If eating vegetarian / vegan were always this easy and delicious then I'd convert in a second. Their chicken parm dish with vegan cheese is YUM AF
Great menu, lots of vegan choices ! Had vegan wontons and they were delicious. It is a little crowded in there’s but worth it. Didn’t even take to long to get our food either.
The non-vegetarian’s vegetarian spot . I had the soy-based chicken cutlet sandwich w. fries & still think about it to this day. Didn’t know vegetarianism could be this tasty!
Everything here is great!! I love it almost ordered everything on the menu. One of my favorite dish was potato and sautéed meat (vegan )
Amazing food with nice people. At first it's really confusing to see all the meat in the menu until you understand everything there is vegan or vegetarian which is amazing!
It's a small place but the vegan Asian / soul dishes are actually decently priced compared to most vegan places! They're quite tasty, and the fries are like crack. Will definitely return again.
Meat-like vegan dishes . Having grown up on a vegetarian diet I was slightly sceptical at first, but they converted me on the first bite of the "chicken wings ". The staff is incredibly friendly , too!
Get the Buffalo wings as appetizer . Really good, but also a huge portion . For a single person this would suffice as a full meal. Brownie cheesecake was very tasty too! Helpful and friendly staff .
The famous BBQ wings !!!! And the garlic fried rice . I took mine to go the wait times are crazy but they are that good you would never know it wasn't meat. There's flavor packed in every bite#teamvegan
I was not attracted by the meat names of vegan plates. But there are plenty of Veggie entrees and pasta . My Thai curry was excellent! Place is small so you might have a wait. Loved the colorful decor
The famous BBQ wings !!!And the garlic fried rice . I took mine to go the wait times are crazy but they are that good you would never know it wasn't meat. There's flavor packed in every bite#teamvegan
Buffalo wings , fries , and fresh juices were great even for a non vegan . Vanilla ice cream was terrible-tasted like a bad mix of marshmallow and ready whip. :/ mind chocolate chip ice cream was decent
This place is incredible. I'm not even a vegan and the seitan tasted better than real meat to me. Place is a bit cozy but great service. Make a reservation it was packed on Sat night.
Loved the BBQ "chicken " took my girlfriend who's a vegan and we loved it went on Valentine's day for lunch and sat right down. No wait at all!!! Great ambiance great food and great pricing
The butterfly pork chops , Creole soul chicken and the seafood fried rice are yummy! The collards w/ ham is the bomb! The steak sandwich 's sauce was a little toooo tangy for me, but it was still good!
Try the Southern Fried Chicken - it's amazing!!!
Some of the best vegetarian in the city . Go early and you'll have no problem getting a table. Most dishes are Asian-based/flavored but all of it's good. I prefer their tempeh to the soy-based 'meats'
Soul vegetarian restaurant . They have tons of "meat" dishes. Faux, obviously, its the best you'll ever have. The Soul Chicken Sandwich and the buffalo wings are incredible.
This place can get easily filled, but be patient cause the food is worth it. The Steak Burger and the BBQ wings are great and make sure you leave some room for dessert .
The first place I take my out of town vegans . If youre into fake meat , this is your spot. Wine is well priced, but beware--the desserts are really really sweet. I usually split appetizers with a group
If you like fake meat , then this is going to be your Shangri-La! You must try the Dragonfly Dumplings , the Caribbean Jerk Spiced Seitan and the Bamboo Nuggets!
Mac&cheese, buffalo wings , nuggets, vegan wine , chocolate cake = amazing. Didn’t care for the chocolate shake
This veggie spot makes every top 5 list of vegetarian restaurants . Your non-vegetarian friends will enjoy the Roti Canai or the Chicken Parmesan which comes with either melted dairy or vegan cheese .
Red Bamboo offers the big three: 1) amazing vegetarian food , 2) good price, 3) great, cozy ambience . The service is great too. Great mock meat - best in NYC city :)
That was interesting. I'm not a big fan of fast food , but I liked something here. A mango chicken curry was actually really nice.
The Roti Canai appetz is soooo good! Buffalo Wings , Crab Rangoon just few of yum apptz. Breaded dish tasted Italian n crunch. Try Szechuan Beef with dried chilli .
Amazing food! Vegan friendly . Gets very crowded so go early .
I am completely obsessed with this place. The meatless meat is truly better than the real thing. And the steak burger is out of this world!
I come to the city just for the vegan BBQ buffalo wings ! My friend got then to go once and flew them for me in California so I could have them!
"Soulful dishes such as the Creole-style fried “chicken ,” doused in mushroom gravy with a side of sweet corn mashed potatoes , really satisfy. This place is down-home."
Vegan wings were yummy! Huge vegan menu so many options to try.
Vegan..not my thing but must say it wasn’t bad. Little spongey everything has was ok.It was a very small place. But decent prices. If you want to start this vegan life start here, Good beer selection
Asian-fusion and comfort food classic. Get the BBQ Buffalo Wings !! Love the mango chicken dish, too.
Crab Rangoon , mango chicken , and BBQ buffalo wings are all amazing
Everything is simply amazing no matter what you take! So good. Must come back to try more
Great vegan dishes that will even attract your non-vegan friends. Desserts are to die for and don't sit heavy on your stomach.
One of my fav vegan restaurants in New York!! Best vegan cheesecake ever!!
This place blew my mind. The mango “chicken ” served inside of a whole mango was spectacular. Also the key lime cheesecake .
The best vegan food for those not into being vegetarians ...
Creole Soul Chicken is very good! This is a popular spot, so it can be hard to get a table.
Take mango chicken and brown rice to Washington sq park , highly recommend.
Excellent option for Asian fusion vegetarian . Large portions . Recommend: buffalo wings .
Awesome!!! From the Mac and cheese to the Bamburger.. ????????✊????
Bamburger delicious!! Better than most diner burgers I've had! Salmon ? Not at all delicious. Not. At. All.
Good vegetarian spot in Greenwich Village . They have a bunch peculiar but delicious fake meat options, try the buffalo wings !
Buffalo chicken is better than any words can describe. Bourbon chicken , yes please! The strawberry shortcake is a kiss from Jesus. lol
The seitan sandwich is tender and juicy. Sweet and messy. Get extra napkins but it's with it. Great crispy Fries too.
'Chicken' nuggets are fantastic. Awesome dessert selection. Highly recommend.
