Once you look past the dark and slightly rundown atmosphere, you’ll notice that the beer is cold, the music is awesome, the fun crowd and the crispy and delicious French Fries .

If you want Belgium beer , Vol de Nuit has a nice selection on draft . The beer garden is a great place to hang out and drink on a temperate spring or fall evening.

Unassuming, quiet spot to have an awesome beer . The front patio is helpful when it's not too hot and you want to get some air but can't put down the sauce.

This place is truly a hidden gem - a cozy Belgian beer bar with a vast array of beers on tap and an even more extensive bottled selection. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy the terrace on a sunny day.

Quieter and cozier on the weekend than other spots in the neighborhood . Great beer and Belgian fries . I always get framboise while my BF likes his Delirium.

I'm a regular visitor to Belgium so good to see a good range of beers from my old stamping ground. However if you are of a. certain vintage you might need your reading glasses; it's quite dark.

If it's warm, snag a seat outside with a Duvel Green and order up some moules et frites . If it's cold, cozy up on a couch with a date and a lambic . Then let the happy sink in.

Proof that you don't need 101 beers on tap to offer excellent brew. A tastefully select dozen Trappist draughts does the trick. My favorite, the Leffe Brune

Greatest outdoor bar space ever. Somewhat flooded with the ill-fitting-suit-douchebag crowd in the summers, but often you can get your own little area in the courtyard . Get frites .

You might think $22 for moules et frites is a bit much. You would be wrong. Superb Belgian beer selection in a great atmosphere = a favorite.

$10 Chimay . The table all the way in the back is right in front of the air conditioner.

The frites and mussels are enough for a perfect dinner . Try the sauces.

This place is great. Get some mussels , go on a date. Go alone- discover that you actually do like light beers . Especially ones made by monks.
