The Chicago Theatre

A classic Chicago establishment and a great place to catch a show. Reasonably priced ($7-$8) beers to boot, given the venue. Chick-fil-A is next door in case you need a pre-show snack .

Beautiful and iconic performance space. A must see. Seating in the balcony is better than floor seats in the back of the main level.

The upper foyer of the Chicago Theatre can be seen in The Untouchables (1987) in an early scene as Al Capone receives his morning newspaper and the Bookkeeper checks the accounts.

Jill Scott was amazing! The theater is majestic and the staff were sweethearts ???? they even volunteered to take pics of me and my girls.

Parking on State st (entrance on lake ), turn left, down the alley...fastest way to get to the theater in a hurry!!

Beautiful, iconic theatre with great seats in lower levels. Nose bleeds aren't worth the money though.

Fact: people love lines . Fact: there will always be a long line forming around state . Myth: you should get in said line b/c everyone else is. Fact: there are 8 doors, walk around to another one.

This is a beautiful landmark . Come and visit singers as Janet Jackson, Barbara Streisand, and up and coming artists !

This is my favorite Chicago venue. Take the Mezzanine tour - it's incredible and fun!

Free parking around Daley Center at Clark/Monroe - cut through Daley courtyard and you're at the theatre ! Bathroom breaks always have lines for ladies room, so go before at your cafe/resto of choice

I've mostly seen comedians and speakers, it's a great music venue ! Saw Conan O'Brien here last night, Anthony Bourdain a few weeks ago, Eddie Izzard on two separate tours , and a coupla bands.

Best to see orchestrated acts here. Live music shows can be lame due to assigned seating.
