For brunch you must get the bucatini cacio e pepe . Prob the most amazing dish and so simple. Also highly recommend an order of pancakes for the table. The frittata is huge, I barely could eat half.
Delicious hen-in-the-woods mushroom . Such rich earthy flavour. I almost think the cheese spread overwhelmes it. This place is bustling. If u can't get a table reservation , try the bar .
We were genuinely sad when we finished our meal here because we didn't want it to end. Definitely start with the duck wings , followed by the bucatini and the crackling porcelet. Save room for dessert !

Perfect for an early an early dinner with the parents or a later dinner date. Awesome atmosphere. All of the pastas dishes were fantastic, especially the pappardelle and tortellini .
Service was very good today - even without a reservation . I recommend the pappardelle , also the Brussel sprouts . The pizza was so so. The bread pudding was fabulous.

One of the best meals I've ever had. The hen of the woods mushroom and the Caesar salad and the Estrella pasta were the standouts. Also amazing cocktails .
OMG - the Pistachio pizza and Pannacotta were out of this world! The bread was amazing as well ...so were the cocktails ! My new favorite place for dinner !
Pappardelle with spicy sausage ragu , kale and parmigiano was great. Burgers were the most popular order at my table. Looking forward to going again.

One of the best restaurants in the city . There is no wrong choice, but the whole crispy mushroom , skirt steak , and crispy polenta deserve shoutouts.
This place has free sparkling water, great service and a a phone charging station, I never wanted to leave. Try the pear pizza and the carrots with a California wine .

The burger was the star in an already great line up. Donuts were delicious, too. Brunch was relatively easy to get in, so it's probably preferable over the dinner rush / hype. I'll be back!
Love the ambience. It's perfect for a date or with a group. Groups larger than 8 should definitely make a reservation . The kale-sausage pizza and the chicken sandwich are amazing!
What took me so long? Really love this place. Everyone is so nice. My favs were the steak tartare , fried mushrooms , and the pork . I will be dreaming of that pork !

Pappardelle has an awesome crunch that makes it gold. Great vego options. Pastas can be made gluten-free. Upbeat vibe and cosy decor and lighting.
No matter the time of the day, this place never disappoints. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the burger and the bucatini cacio e pepe are my favorites.
Highlight was by far the delicious pork chop and the fresh bread and spiced butter was also very good! Pappardelle was tasty but skip the desserts . Cookies were below par and zabaglione only so so.
Ordering the burrata , 2 salads , asparagus pizza & a pasta for 3 people was way too much. It was all ????????????????, but next time we'd just go for two salads and a pizza . No matter what it's all perfect.

Series of creative and very tasty dishes. Squid is pleasant surprise. Both soft middle part and crispy part go really well with lots of other ingredient and ink sauce.
The cuisine is very new American with an extensive wine list ... everything was very flavorful and full of spice (good tastes, plus hot spices too) and the lamb shoulder was perfectly crispy !!!

Everything is delicious and great vibe. We had the crispy mushroom , brussels sprout pizza , and smoked chicken . Insanely good. Also - they serve amazing potato bread , it's hard not to fill up on it.

Starr and Smillie have partnered up to create a California-inspired menu at Upland. Start off with a shared pizza (like the Pear ) and make sure to get a pasta , like the excellent Pappardelle .
Some many yummy things to choose from. Complimentary bread & butter is amazing. Scallop is perfection. Caesar = mmmm! Spaghettini w/ crab & artichoke hearts is a delight. I'm totally going back!!

Absolutely incredible: duck wings , sopressata pizza , crispy mushroom , estrella, bucatini , branzino , skirt steak . So basically just tell them what you DON'T want on the menu to save time.
Beef tartare has a top crust of crunchy farro, and is served with an egg yolk nestled in anchovy dust on the side. It's a delicate style, finely minced , with horseradish .
I’ve wanted to try this place forever and I wasn’t disappointed. Even though the pizza oven was down, we had a delicious lunch and were given cookies and milk for our patience and flexibility.
Interesting menu, a good mix of American and Italian cuisine . Surprisingly good Cacio e Pepe ! Came here without even being hungry but I devoured the pasta in seconds.
Hard not to want the entire menu, but make sure to save room for their free, housemade buttery potato bread , which was seriously bomb (I had a whole loaf to myself...).
