One of the last of the true Italian Delis that are fading from The City . Fantastic Italian market with made to order sandwiches and other great eats. Pick your fresh roll from the bin and be patient!
The Molinari Special is awesome and was my go to companion. Unfortunately, for the Molinari Special , it has been relegated to the back seat. Now it is the Luciano Special that is riding shotgun!!!!
The best value sandwich in SF . $10 for the Molinari Special with half a dozen delicious Italian meats layered high enough two people could split one.
In addition to being a truly authentic Italian deli with hundreds of imported Italian products , Molinari makes some of the best sandwiches in San Francisco. I love the South Beach Special .

Great sandwiches in a very authentic deli . Good veggie sandwich but maybe a bit oily for me.
Fantastic authentic Italian sandwiches , sides and desserts . Stock up, hit Coit Liquor , and go picnic in Washington Square!
They ignore you if you don't have a ticket. People in north beach love this place, but anyone else from another neighborhood knows that there are places with way better cheese and meat selections.

Grab an old school Italian sub on a fresh baked roll and maybe a pack of hand made ravioli + sauce for later
