This park has tons of room for your pup to run free and plenty of places for you to sit and relax! It's a great park for a game of fetch but prepare to play with other ball–thieving dogs as well .
Pretty nice dog park that's clean and decent size with a great atmosphere surrounded by trees . There's a large and small dog run . Gets a little stinky during the summer. Water is available for dogs!
Very friendly pet parents. Would recommend giving your dog a bath after visiting as the gravel is very smelly. Make sure to wear closed toes shoes and clothes you don't mind getting filthy, great park
Keep under the shade of trees bordering the dog run while watching pups romp in the pebbled park . Bring your pup to Madison Square Park Shake Shack afterwards and treat him to a cool poochini treat.
One of our favorite dog park . The park is well maintained and it is spacious enough for our dog to play and socialize with other dogs .
It's a great park : plenty of shade and room to run around. My dog loves it there. However, when it's warm out, the pee-soaked gravel tends to stink and it's hard to stay in the area for too long!
Spend some quality time with your licensed pup at the Madison Square Park Dog Run . For info on dog licensing visit: http://on.nyc.gov/M85uPu. For more info about dog runs visit: http://bit.ly/Ra5S4w
A very popular dog run in Madison Square Park . The park features WiFi , rotating art exhibits , and a high-end food kiosk.
You're sitting on your phone while your pooch thieves my dog's tennis ball we brought (and you didn't). Hey, clueless: PLAY WITH YOUR DOG.
Please don't let your dog bark incessantly, be respectful of the other dogs and owners!
Fun place to be with your dog after eating shake shack :)
The dog park in Madison Square Park allows for off-leash time in a gorgeous setting.
Currently sitting next to a man who brought his four-year-old human daughter to the dog park because it's fenced in and she can't run away. He doesn't own a dog. Not sure how to react to this.
Go in, seat down and enjoy all the dogs that will come to cuddle you :)
Sit down and relax! Enjoy the view and passers-by.
Close the gate. Every time. Nobody wants to lose a dog. I don't care what your rationale was for not closing it this time. Be considerate of others. Close the gate. Every time.
Lots of cute dogs here on the weekends!
"A dog park with a view ".
The benches near this dog park are usually empty. Probably because it smells like old dog pee .
Smelly and a lot of owners don't clean up after their dogs. They provide poop bags
There's a designated small dog area but it seems to be empty most of the time
Fun even though this dog park often smells like pee. (gravel - no way to really wash it).
Play baha men and you will get stared at
Just because you're not watching doesn't mean your dog didn't shit. Clean up after yourself.
Pick up your dog shit. Don't be a dick.
Today is ur last chance to get SPOTTED - bring ur dog down for a chance to WIN cool prizes!!!
Good times, small dog park .
Here's a tip: don't leave tips about how much it smells like dog pee . IT'S A DOG PARK ! It's like complaining that pizza joints smell like pepperoni . "...how often they wash the stones..."?!?!
Small dogs are there about 4pm
I love dogs but don't take deep breaths around here.
Being happy watching man's best four-legged friend run free.
Not sure how often they rinse the dog pee out of the gravel . This dog run reeks and attracts a lot of flies.
Need I say more?! Absolutely love shake shack! Always there for me rain or shine. Provides the ultimate comfort, I'm emotionally attached to this place. Just keep in mind you DO have to sit outside - ℳ????????♍
Cute small dog run by Hudson River. Really nice since it's not too noisy, pools for the dog during the summer. It's well maintained. - Winson Wong
There's a sun umbrella and large tub of water. The current stones are larger than they were before, so may be better for larger dogs. - ktr
Great place for a morning romp for the pups. Next to the museum of natural history in a beautiful park. - MLL♍✨
A wonderful array of meat, cheese dessert and hot meals. A must stop if yore a foodie. - Dee H
Really cool vibe! Close to shops and coffeeshops! on weekends outside market place - Kujtesa M
