This is a fantastically beautiful opera house and I imagine that anything one views here would be great. Great choice of music/dance and Chagall's ceiling is worth visiting in its own right.
Probably the most famous Opera house in the world and one of the most impressive landmarks in Paris without any doubt 😱😍👍
One of the most beautiful landmarks in Paris. Reserve a spot in one of the guided tours , you will marvel at the architecture .
Incredible architecture and scenic views from Paris. You will see lots of married people taking their pictures here. It's just beautiful. The entrance is €6 if you are younger than 25.
a true theatre within the theatre 🎭 It is truely breathtaking & mind-blowing, salon evokes the aesthetic of the Belle Époque. we have watched Guilio Ceaser here. what an opera. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
One of my favourite buildings in Paris (before Eiffel Tower !) This palace is so wonderful, I'll advise you to do the escape game inside to discover it.

Beautiful and great building done by architect Charles Garnier's plans and designs it which are representative of the Napoleon III style.✨💙
Extraordinary architectural detail is woven into every facet of the building. There's so much more than what you can see, so pay for a guided tour . It's well worth the money.
Of all the opera houses in Europe one of the most majestic and impressive of all. Get your tickets early and arrive early to wander the many salons and explore.
Take the guided tour - worth it if only for access into the performance hall (but also for the facts and contextual commentary)
Beautiful architecture and history. The guided tour is well worth the money, giving background and details to the myriad of works of art .
The most iconic opera house in the world, with splendid interiors and a small stage though
Must visit if u're in Paris. Better joining a guided tour that can be purchased at the entrance for around 31 euros (2017/jan).
Incredibly beautiful place and the best ballet in the world
At the gate, don't buy guided tour ticket. After that, there are ticket vending machines, counters and also visual audio guide supports more language including Korean. For me there is a masterpiece.
It’s all golden and marvelous in photos. It’s all mostly gray and mármol in real life. Worth visiting even so
This gorgeous Palais was used as the setting for the Phantom of the Opera! Nowadays it houses the world-renowned Paris Opera Ballet . Catch a show and end the evening in the superb onsite restaurant !
Come early; enjoy the building; visit the exhibits . To attend a concert here is one of the things one must do in life, at least once.
Get to the Opera at 10am on the day of a show and they release tickets for 10 euros each and some of those seats are pretty decent.
Book a tour with a guide. It will add to your knowledge a lot
The seat are a bit tight so make sure you check the seating plan before you book . We had cat.1 tickets but were literally squeezed!amazing architecture and a very good performance , though
One if the most beautiful buildings you will ever visit, it defines luxury and opulence. Don't forget to visit the foyer... you will be amazed.
The most amazing place in Paris, a real palace , worth seeing either with excurtion or as a ballet/opera viewer.
Check out this beautiful landmark . Its grand staircase is breathtaking and will have you feeling like you are in a movie ! The architecture will have you in awe before you even see the opera!
Beautiful place! Amazing architecture ! Maybe the best monument in Paris for art lovers
Really beautiful opera building, charmy, elegant and luxury
Don’t forget to LOOK UP - the ceilings are amazing 🤩
The video/audio guide is absolutely worth it. Such a beautiful building and a well done tour . Expect it to take about 45 min to 1hr
Adorable architecture . Absolutely must see 💙
Awesome place to visit or for enjoying an opera of ballet ! Very expansive for a good seat.
Great architecture with lots of history, guided tour is a must
If you're inside, do not miss taking a picture from the open air terrace , a grand spectacle of architecture and urban design.
We booked an English language guided group tour through Get Your Guide. I heartily recommend this reasonably priced tour - the Opera is very busy and tours often sell out!
Marvelous and we enjoyed So much the opera 'cosi fan tutti' with wonderful anne-teresa-de-keersmaeker as choreograph
Might want to check ahead. The auditorium was closed for a rehearsal. We got a glimpse but it was dark. A side lobby was being set up for an event . We shared an audio guide.
Beautiful and quiet place , worth the visit, unforgettable experience for those who like theaters and ballets !
The street musicians performing at the steps of the opera are quite good.....best if you're on budget.
Quite opulent exterior and interior, not to the best of my liking personally, but offers spectacular views for tourists and photos.
What I love about opera most of all is architecture of opera houses. This building is spectacular.
Opéra Garnier is one of the most famous and beautiful building in Paris . Recently, a great restaurant have opened. You definitly have to try it!
A must see if you are visiting Paris. While it's pretty widely known, it's not nearly as busy as many of the other landmarks .
Favorite building in Paris - don't miss the ceiling in the theater ! And that staircase!
All the place Its delirious! You have to visit opera, great place.
Take it as red. Architect Odile Decq has created a contemporary theatrical look for the Opéra Garnier restaurant , with a spectacular mezzanine like a ‘ship docked beneath the dome’.
Get yourself a tour from Viator for behind the scenes access!
Worth visiting if you have enough time and like theatre . However be prepared you will not see the scene. Ok, you will see it but it does not count :)
As almost all in Paris - awesome looking place !!
Opulent architecture , rich history, unforgettable performance for la voix humaine.
Altough Opera Bastille seems to have better programme, the historical setting of Opera Garnier should not be missed. Be careful to choose a seat that has full view of the scene; cheap seats don't

Definitely worth a visit. I was originally put off by the ticket price but now would consider another visit without hesitation. Make sure you get the champagne for the extra vibes - Marius Gheorghiu
The building is just worth checking out as well. Get last minute tickets cheap although the real tickets on the 1st and 2nd balconies are not bad either. Excellent value for money - Melforss
