Heartbreaking but a must see museum . Free parking and admission which I would of gladly paid for both. They give u a set path and book on an interactive tour . A must do. Vote for the box car!!!
The VHM does a really nice job of walking ppl through this part of history. Very interesting exhibitions in the second floor.
The recreation and restoration of objects and emotions is delivered with both subtlety and boldness throughout the museum .
Been twice. It's an awesome experience, although very sad. Free, everyone should check it out!
There is currently an exhibit about the trial of Adolf Eichmann. They are building an exhibit on the Nuremburg Trials. Wonderful museum .

Don't miss the White House tour. Our tour guide (Charlie) was extremely knowledgeable -- a true historian, unlike our experience at some other historical sites. - Lynn Miller
A really beautiful well represented museum. Some really great photos and artifacts.. We really like the way it is laid out - Bennie Mac
Well worth the visit, for the museum and the district. Be advised, no street parking in front. - Rick Howard
Great place for a rehearsal dinner or private party. Patio with lazy summer ambiance and gave our out of town guests to a slice of RVA! - Samm WW
