We went two days in a row,try about 7 tastes, each one of them was really delicious. If you like dark chocolate ,must try pure chocolate or wine chocolate .3 scoops 4.5€.You won't be regret:)
Lavender-peach and pistacchio. Both delicious, probably the best I had as far in Rome. There were parts of the fruit and nuts . You can see through the window people making flavours with fresh ing
You’d be hard-pressed to walk a block in any Italian city without stumbling upon a gelato parlor serving up the dense, silky concoction . Rome's Gelateria del Teatro is a hidden gem . Read more
Besides the little window through which you can see how they make the gelato , this place offers more unusual choices such as almond with caramelized fig . Definitively worth a stop!
Dark chocolate is really delicious; hazelnut is truly average. You can find creamier and better texture ice cream in Rome .
The best experience with gelato I had in Italy was when I checked their side window and I saw a woman making the ice cream right in front of us. Couldn't get any fresher or more homemade .
Quality Gelato with polite staff . Don't forget to get your queue number from the front door, you may have to wait for a while. Sacher and vaniglia were great! 👏👏
The gelato itself is heavenly! Absolutely one of the bests in Rome, which has been certified as 'gelaterie artigianali' -using only fresh ingredients and no artificial colours, flavours or thickeners.
The best Cannolis of my life!!! Made fresh, you can see the balers@making them through the side window. Try the hazelnut , pistachio or coffee . Non traditional, but all so so good. Worth every calorie
Lovely small gelateria with great flavours. Loved the cherry & sage . The fruit flavours are rich and fresh. Just get your gelato and sit on the stairs next door in the shade. Enjoy!
The most amazing gelato in Rome, hands down! For the same price as other "artisan " gelaterias, this one has the creamiest, tastiest, and most interesting flavors. Try the basil and white chocolate !
The best Italian ice cream in Rome with unique flavours and great value for money . Peruvian Amazon’s Chocolate or Raspberry with Sage or Sicilian Almond . Delicious
Be sure to visit this place on your first day in Rome because you'll definitely want to come back and try other flavors. Figs , rosemary something, cream, ricotta . Not sure , it's all a blur. DELICIOUS
Fantastic artisan gelati in many mind-blowing flavours. It’s really hard to choose!
Really tasty gelato , I recommend chocolate and coffee . Best time to go is after 7pm because it gets really quiet whereas in the afternoon the queue is out of the door.
Best in Rome, really nice complex flavours like garden sage and raspberry and cheese almond fig . Really enjoyed it but more expensive than others.
Amazing taste of ice cream in Rome !!!! My top 3 are: "Rosemary , Honey & lemon ", "Lavender and white peach " and "Pure chocolate". We will be back here ;)
The ice cream there will take you places , lavender with honey , custard with Pine cheese with figs . Just make sure to take a number
This place has super delicious, unique and fresh flavors like ginger , fennel with figs and almonds , etc. However, if you are looking for classics like pistachio and hazelnut go to Gracchi!!!
In the main street where this is located you have a window with a view of how they make the gelato . In the corner you can see and enjoy a view of an alley while eating your ice cream .
Justly deserving of its reputation, it makes the more venerable gelaterie of Rome look stodgy and uncreative in comparison. Just scanning the flavors on offer from day to day inspires excitement.
Amazing ice cream (gelato ). The raspberry sage , yogurt lemongrass , white chocolate&basil and madagascar vanilla are my favourites. 3 flavours = 4,50
Many interesting flavor choices here. Refreshing lemon with basil , chocolate with Nero d’Avola, pistachio nuts from Sicily, lavender and white peach . There are lots of milk free options as well .
Love the ice creams here!!! Rosemary+raspberry, almond , lavender+peach, cheese+fig ❤️❤️❤️
Chocolate with red wine , ginger , cinnamon ,rosemary with lemon ...natural flavors . They also have desserts
Amazing gelato and cannoli . I highly recommend the White chocolate , vanilla , tiramisu and crema della nova (custard with pine nut ) flavours.
So refreshing. Second best ice cream behind Eis-Greissler. Pistachio and Almond (especially) amazing.
Best gelato in Rome. Mint with chocolate chips and pineapple flavors are incredible. Prices too high.
Tried chocolate milk , strawberry , coconut and melon !! All perfect with genuine ingridient taste! Definetly will try again when i visit Rome!
Tried the tiramisu and really liked it though I was more in love with the coffee flavor . €3 for single scoop sugar cone .
The herb flavours-lamponi e salvia (raspberry-sage), lavanda e pesca (lavender-peach), & choc bianco al basilico (white chocolate-basil)-are great. And puro (pure chocolate ) is heaven too.
The best I had in rome, Pistachio is impressive
Probably one of the best you can get is at the Gelateria del Teatro, hidden in a small backyard . Try the home-made cioccolato puro or salvia e lampone (sage ice cream with a raspberry ripple)!
This place is incredible. Went here multiple times a day. Pistachio and hazelnut were favorites as well as four chocolate and strawberry .
Best ever cannoli perfect tiramisu and White wine cream gelato just mind blowing <3
This is the best gelato place in Rome, possibly all of Italy. Or the world. Freshly cut fruit goes into this awesome gelato . Try everything.
Ricotta/Fig/Almond one tastes superb! Pistachio , Strawberry and Almond were all very good too! I believe this is one of the best gelateria in Rome
Unique mix of flavors that are worth trying along side old standards. Love hazelnut with ricotta-almond-fig and sage-raspberry. Pure joy and deliciousness.
By far the best ice cream in Rome . You can even watch the fresh production .
Fantastic gelato ! Try the wine and chocolate , or really anything you can't really go wrong!
Very good ice cream you can eat in the nice steps next to it I really suggest it!
Definitely one of the best gelaterias in Rome where you can try some not-so-usual tastes. Great quality.
Red wine dark chocolate gelato is amazing! Nice seating area in the back to take a break from the crowds outside.
Some of the best gelato I've ever had. Garden sage + raspberry is truly spectacular.
Pure chocolate is very chocolatey !! Nice to sit outside at the table with cute floral mosaic or just on the stairs for people watching .
There's no doubt gelato here is delicious but the prices can easily sour everything 👎🏻 They take way too much advantage of their location and need urgently to work on their service, it's chaotic!
Honestly amazing. Very unique flavors - the white chocolate and basil was refreshing and the custard and pine seed was incredible!
Good ice cream and the place on stairs is perfect to feel the real Italy!
Many special tastes you won't find anywhere else. Ice cream is ok, definitely not worth the price, unless you're a tourist , in that case it's probably one of the best ice creams you'll find in town .
Just the best. Also, stairs outside are awesome to sit there and forget about time. Try basil , cheese and qiwi. Damn it, get them all and run!
Simply the best gelato in Rome. Hazelnut is amazing. Honey and cream, basil and melon! - SSK
Staff is friendly and multilingual! Lots of flavors of gelato and other ice cream snacks too :) - Marisa C
Yummy creamy ice-cream, so many flavours! Gianduja is truly delicious. - Constance | @croostifoodi
Great spot to grab a drink. One of the best squares in Rome. - jon accarrino
This castle is such a great experience and the view from the top is spectacular :) - Jeanette Mayland
