Delicious! The seared scallops were orgasmic. The salad was so beautiful and tastiest Brussels sprouts ever. Yummy yuzu cocktails . Attentive service. Lovely for a special occasion .
BAR UME is one of my dining happy places. Japanese Burger Bar HEAVEN! If you haven’t dined here yet make this your first New Year’s resolution for 2018. Full review is now up on Spooning Australia .
One of the best burgers you will ever find! Both the Ume and Bacon Cheeseburger are incredible.
Great food but bullied into tipping by the manager who told us write down how much we wanted to tip on the receipt. He used the excuse that ppl accidentally write their pin in the tip space?! Scum.
Go for the 6 course menu. Excellence. Snapper and scallops are the stars. Maître de gave the best service I can remember in a loooooong time.
Must order scallop carpaccio , shiko no salad , the octopus dish "tako", lamb shoulder , David blackmore's wagyu and spanner crab sushi :) it was all delicious
The wagyu beef is one of the best Iv tried . Food was brilliant, speed was a bit too slow , will go there again for the beef for sure!
A solid, almost dainty burger . It was nice but if I'm headed out for a burger I want the pattie greasy, the cheese messy and the bun to deform around my fingers.
Deteriorating degustation menu - excellent wagyu beef and strawberry compote
Do the degustation , well worth it here. The seared scallop carpaccio is insanely good.
Probably the best Japanese in Australia that I've ever tasted.
The raw prawns are phenomenal
great intimate setting - delicious food
The degustation will leave you in awe and shivering in the corner.
Great service, fantastic food!
Great japanese beers
Uses Japanese ingredients but wouldn't call it Japanese. Very modernised and otherwise average.

Over priced everything. They're trying but it's not quite there. Service was friendly but borderline pretentious . I wouldn't go back.
Early days but the service is way too slow, 2 hours for 4 dishes.
Wouldn't recommend it - the service and atmosphere were great but the food was quite poorly prepared and tasteless
Definitely go for the Ramen dishes, they are great! Servings and prices are very reasonable as well. - Kevin To
The Brussels sprouts were yum, soft shell crab bun yum. Scallops always a winner. - Marianne N
Must order bonito salad, sake tasting set, fried chicken, & sword fish belly - Oishi - Mooksy ♔
Some of the best gelato one can find. Hazelnut and mango flavours are delicious just to make a couple. - James Norton
Love the new renovation of The Carrington! New decor is on point. Also $18 Sunday Roast ???? - Lisa Brown
