It's a beautiful monument best seen during a clear day. The gold statue against a blue backdrop is remarkable. Tip: don't try to cross the road from above, there are underground passes from all sides.
It took me ages before I finally went up the victory column. I recommend to do it when it's clear so you get the most out of that view . The replicates of the European sights are a nice feature as well
If you want to enjoy some scenic views and great photo opportunities come here! You have to pay a small fee and climb 285 steps , but it's worth it once you get to the top.
This historical monument at the center of Berlin was built to commemorate the Prussian victory in the Danish-Prussian War. Go to the observatory for amazing city views . Opens at 9:30am.

One of my favorite monument from Berlin. The Column of Victory is amazing. You can arrive at the columns through the tunnels who are situated by the both sides of the street 17 June.
When you around try to go up! Be careful due to the stiffness of the stairs you might feeling dizzy, once you at the top you got like 360 degrees of Berlin
Climb the stairs to the top. Look up. Acknowledge how freaking huge she really is. Go back down. Look up again. Marvel at how tall that tower really is because now she looks teeny tiny.
Catch your breath, climb up, and then do the air-conditioned exhibit after you come back down.
It's a landmark of home for me as an original "Berliner Göre"! And always a little bit of Love Parade , if you walk or drive by????
I was wondered when I read that the Column ist moved from another place to here. It has about 280 stairs but worth it to go up.
Great building. In the middle of the beautiful and mysterious Tiergarten. Bundestag Dome offers great outlook.
The garden is really wonderful. I'd suggest exploring from this side on and have a view from the column top first.
Great views of the city . Beautiful monument worth the walk to see it up close.
3€ entrance fee. The view from the climb to the top is worth the climb. Go near evening for a beautiful view of Berlin.
Amazing this was once in front of the Reichstag. On New Years Eve this becomes a firework show ground!
Do the climb, even if it means losing your feet for the day. Perfect view ! It is crowded up there, they should do something about that.
Great place at a sunny day. Specially for tourists ;-) but don't block the street for bikers. They can get angry!
You should choose to save energy or to be on the top of column. Choose the second thing ;)
Climb the tower an hour before sunset right away, stay for photos of the scenic views , then return down for a brief tour .
Take time and climb to the top of the column, you won’t regret it
Great views but the steps climbing up are a killer! Way cheaper than the TV tower though
If you’re okay with going up by stairs, I’d recommend to go to the Column’s top - it is a nice view over Tiergarten
