My room had a terrific view of the city . The room was a little cool but staff fix the AC immediately after a call. There is a Starbucks next the lobby. Internet is not for free but expensive .
Suite on 66 floor is awesome...bedroom, dining room, living room, wetbar, 2 full bathrooms with rainshowers. Cell reception spotty this far up, but premium WiFi (free to Platinums ) is blazing.
Before the seventy hotel was built in 1976, this location was a hot spot for movie goers every weekend. The 'Roxy Theatre ' showed many notable films like Spartacus and My Fair Lady.
Best customer service and hospitality that I've experienced in the southeast. I believe our servers name was Summith (sp). Bar none he was the best waiter I've had the pleasure of being served by.
The Westin Peachtree Plaza has called Atlanta it's home for the past 40 + years. A restaurant (the Sun Dial ) is at the top of the skyscraper & the hotel is famous for its once-in-a-lifetime views !
Some of the nicest hotel staff around Atlanta! Rooms are super nice & updated. Ask to be on the 65th floor because the view is AMAZING!

The renovated rooms are much nicer than the old ones. Nice flat screen TVs that can be controlled by a mobile app. Awesome rain shower heads and always great service.
Ask to stay in a renovated room , other reviews are referring to the old school portion of this massive hotel ...new rooms are Westin perfect!
There was once a historic governor’s mansion here. More than 10 GA governors lived in the mansion before it was relocated.

Great view , small rooms but comfortable beds , ZERO amenities . You even have to request toothpaste!!! Food at the top restaurant is good
Make sure that if you're staying at this hotel , there will not be a large amount of people staying the same days as you are. The elevators are impossible. However, the view is incredible.

This hotel is prominently featured in the 1981 movie 'Sharky's Machine' both starring and directed by Burt Reynolds. The climactic shootout of the film took place throughout the hotel . Read more

The pool had a roof that retracts half way. No spa . Ask for a floor high in the tower for better views of city .
Amazin view ...with amazing Family ... 66th floor!
I'm with Annie B. I travel. A lot. The Eestin Peachyree is still one of my favorites. $16 for WiFi does blow however. Access should be free (at least for Starwood Preferred Guests).
Great beds, amazing view of the city , free wifi in lobby are only.
Amazing view and great hospitality
Sun Dial is a must see--if just for the view and rotating cocktail lounge . There is no dress code for the lounge , despite what the elevator keeper may say.
Amazing hotel . Favorite in the city !
Be sure to get a room on an upper floor, and then feel weightless as the elevators zoom you up to the top! Boo yeah!
Love the doors. You don't push them ... They just move for you. And the have a starbucks on the second floor.
They got a really nice and amazing view , but never been on highest floors yet. maybe its cool.
The night the lights went out in Georgia: In raw U.S. dollars, the March 2008 tornado was the second most expensive tornado in American history, costing a half-billion dollars.
Book a reservation for the Sundial for a fun experience.
On this site stood the first official Georgia Governor's Mansion after the state capital was moved to Atlanta from Milledgeville in 1868. 17 governors occupied the Victorian home from 1870 until 1921.
Very nice rotating 360 degrees view in the restaurant top floor!
If you're at the Westin check out the wonderful cocktail award-winning menu at Drinkshop. Just a couple blocks south on Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard.

Self-parking is available in a public lot attached to the hotel .
They don't have enough parking for their guests. Valet was full. Self park was full. Was directed to go the wrong way down a 1 way street to park at the Hampton. Had to park 4 blocks away and walk.
The tallest hotel in the western hemisphere, five bucks gets you ride to the top to check out the beautiful 360 degree Atlanta skyline.
